Hello Community, I am trying to confirm with you all a design decision for RC based Low Pass Filter that I plan to install on my the UART Rx pin as the STM32G0 Errata mentions this pin has to have a filtered/noise free input to avoid glitches. I am trying to re-confirm what is the input impedance for the UART Input pin on STM32G series MCUs? Is it a fair assumption that all input pins irrespective of the peripheral (ie UART/I2C/SPI etc) have high input impedance in Mohm range? Kindly suggest/share your experience of using RC Filter on UART Rx input.

There are four DC fans connected the board.  For each, there is a current resistor buffered through an op-amp and then passed to the ADC channel on the STM32G491RET6 MCU. All four ADCs are connected to the same module on four different channels. Software wants to poll into the ADC value periodically and get average (or RMS) current value. I currently try to design a custom PCB using the STM32F303CCT6TR, as I need a lot of IO ports and it fitted the job quite well.I'm a computer science Student so please excuse my lack of in depth knowledge, but I haven't found a solution to the problem yet.As I move components on the schematic I got confused about the Power supply scheme stated in the documentation.(The picture)The connection of VDD to the filtering capacitors, in particular.As the drawing stated 4xVDD to VDD-Source and through 4x100nf + 4.7uf to ground. (with "uf" stands for micro farad)There are multiple ways I interpreted it.1. connect one 100nf to each VDD and further let them share a common 4.7uf capacitor.2. connect each VDD to 4x100nf +4,7uf capacitors, so 5 capacitors per VDD (totaling in 20 capacitors).3. connect each VDD to a 100nf and an 4,7uf capacitor. Hallo Gurus:Newbie level question..'health issues' making me less efficient, and some pointers to get me started would help a lot.I want to do a software start of ADC conversions with DMA into a circular buffer...when an external trigger (GPIO?) occurs, start a timer, and have timer compare stop the conversion...like an oscilloscope triggered capture with pre- and post-trigger capture?Just pointers into the "RTFM", or app note/tutorial, if possible, not wanting to dump a design exercise on anyone!  

Hello !I'm new here and I'm new to programming with a big project.I ordered a Nucléo F401RE with 2 Satel-VL53L8CX. I am building a circuit board using STM32F765. After building it I can use stlink to burn the firmware (stm32 utility) via SWD and read the chip correctly, but I can't get into the bootloader and I can't use the serial port (USB) to read the chip on my PC.Make sure the power supply is normal. I'm not sure what's going on here.

Hi Support Team,I am writing this to get the solution for the problem facing in USB part.Problem: While Using STM32F302RC MC USB module to receive the data i am facing some latency issue, is there any solution to reduce the latency in USB stack.I measured the latency time by sending packets from PC to USB one by one and analyzed latency time of 10-20ms variations.Thanks in advance,Vimal Jain 

In my project, I have a TCP/IP server application running. My main problem is that only one client can connect to the same IP and port at the same time. My project requirement is that multiple clients should be able to send queries to the same IP and port. I can achieve this structure with LWIP, but I couldn't set up the same structure with Azure RTOS NetX. One client works without a problem, but multiple clients cannot send queries. What can we do about this?

ThereRecently i bought  STEVAL-STWINKT1B kit with the WiFi adapter. My motive is to connect the kit with the DSH-PREDMNT dashboard to run the FP-AI-PREDMNT2 demo From my side, this is what i have done sofar1. downloaded the FP-AI-PREDMNT2 firmware package2. Installed the .bin file as it is what i found from the firmware package3. Install the ST-BLE Sensor classic app with the phone and able to pair with the BLE4. Made the account with the DSH-PREDMNT via default ST user credentials5. Register the node via BLE APP with the DSH-PREDMNT dashboard6. Added the WiFi credentials of one of my APHowever, everything goes well except WiFi connection!Node never paired with the WiFi AP! I never got the WiFi working with the default firmware!I already got the JTAG debu

Hello everyone,We are working on a low power project. We selected MCU STM32G030K8T6 for that project.Before developing the project, we tried to verify the power consumption values found at the datasheet by trying a simple code operating at 2 MHz that makes all GPIO pins floating, enables the low power run mode, enables the power down flash mode, and then enters the sleep mode. We used the Joulescope to measure the consumed current in case of input voltage 3 V at temperature 25 C.We found the current is much larger than values found on the datashseet. In the datasheet, the typical value of current in sleep mode at 25 C is ~40 uA, and our value is ~230 uA. Why that happens??You can see the code and the results in the attached files.

Greetings to all, I want to send and receive the data via CAN between STM32F4 and STM32f0. But when I send the data from STM32F4 to STM32F0 I cannot get the interrupt at F0 end. I have tried to communicate between F0 and F0 that works fine I can receive the interrupt and send the data. Also when communicating between F4 and F4 that also works. But when communicating between F4 and F0 I cannnot get the receive interrupt at F0 end. Below are the configurations of F0.

I'm importing some QSPI code we've been using a few years from an SMT32F7xx project to a new project using an STM32L4xx. Both projects use the same target device. I'm having an issue where the majority of messages don't seem to be sent. After debugging with a logic analyzer the behavior I'm seeing is that if I send a message where   sCommand.AddressMode = HAL_OSPI_ADDRESS_NONE;then it sends correctly. Well, I'm new to the STM32. I'm developing vibration and temperature sensors, which used to be equipped with an atmega.With the new demand for processing I decided to upgrade by putting an STM32L0 in place of the old controller.The problem is that now I can't use my CUBE Programmer to connect to my board via Nucleo's STM Link.An error message appears whenever I click Connect, and my Nucleo board flashes red.I think I may have made a connection or PCB design error.Information:My system has 1 accelerometer 1 temperature sensor 1 Lora radio 1 battery sensor and a 3v3 regulator.The clock has been set to 25KHz by means of an Oscillator Crystal.and the BOOT0 pin is not connected to anything other than the pull-down resistor.

Dear all,does anyone have experience with setting analog output signals via Zephyr RTOS? I managed to get the D/A conversion on the Nucleo H723ZG to run via STM32CubeIDE, but I’m running intro trouble when using Zephyr. Hello,Thank you in advance for your assistance.I have designed a circuit with STM32F446. I am using an external 25MHz crystal. The main application program runs fine without any issues, and USB communication works. However, on some boards, I am unable to put the processor into USB DFU mode. I have several boards, and most of them enter DFU mode correctly. I am controlling the Reset and Boot pins externally with another microcontroller. I am monitoring the NRST and BOOT0 pins with an oscilloscope, and there seems to be no problem.I have also tried using a 10MHz crystal with 20pF capacitors, but still couldn't get the processor into DFU mode. I even tried the UART bootloader method by disconnecting the USB cable, but I still fail to get a response from the processor to the 0x7F command.As mentioned earlier, DFU mode works perfectly fine on many other boards. However, despite checking everything, I am unable to put the processor into DFU boot mode on some bo

In the past, we've discussed the fact that in STM32 TIM, there's a delay between Capture and Reset through the derived from the same signal than the Capture.
