I'm working with an STM32H753II on an HMI application.I use Keil IDE and middlewares to access filesystem data. So i end up using the SD card CMSIS driver developed by ARM Ltd.With data and instruction cache disabled, i'm experiencing an IMPRECISERR bus fault reading from the SD card. The same software works without any issue with ICache and DCache enabled. Searching around for the cause, i see that the CMSIS driver (MCI_STM32H7xx.c) calls cache maintenance functions SCB_CleanDCache_by_Addr / SCB_InvalidateDCache_by_Addr without checking if cache is enabled.SCB_CleanDCache_by_Addr ((uint32_t *)daddr, (int32_t)(block_count * block_size));I modify the driver to call SCB_CleanDCache_by_Addr / SCB_InvalidateDCache_by_Addr only if cache enabled. I'm trying to get the internal temperature sensor working on a custom board with an STM32L432KC. VDDA is 2.5V and is stable. The raw readings I'm getting are about 200 counts higher than I would expect on a 12bit config. The reading doesn't change based on temperature, usually I can see a 5 degree change if I shoot compressed air at the chip. I'm guessing I'm somehow reading a different ADC channel but I'm not exactly sure how to debug that. Attached are the register values after boot up.

Hi, I am currently working on a Embedded software application which require multiple SPI, UART peripherals/ pinouts(Min 2). I have used SDP-K1 (MCU- STM32F469) Eval board for my previous project which is suitable for my current project as well except that I need multiple pinouts. Is there any Eval board/Development board suitable for my Use case. Please help me out

Do any of the Cortex M4 or M33 based MCUs have ECC on the processor's registers?If not, is there a mechanism built into the processor to ensure that processor registers (R0, R1, R2...R15 etc) are not corrupted due to SEU?Regards,Hamid

I am testing CORDIC module on STM32H723ZG. The results from CORDIC_FUNCTION_COSINE calculation are consistently negative where they should be positive and vice versa. This holds for 32BIT calculations and for 16BIT as well. Cannot find why this is taking place. Hello, I am using the STM32f107vct6 which has 256kbyte flash memory size. However, after connecting to MCU via st-link V2 and ST-link utility it shows me just a few pages of my flash memory size and the wrong flash memory size.what is my mistake? 

Hello, I have implemented a high-speed USART @921600 baud rate with STM32f10x @72Mhz. I want to send 3000 Bytes to a slave MCU.In slave MCU, I used USART DMA to read MSG[300]byte data collect the data, and copy them into a larger array(Data[3000]).My problem is that when the first 300 bytes come from the USART and a DMA interrupt occurs, I don't have enough time to copy MSG[300] bytes to my larger array Data[3000] and if I use a memory-to-memory DMA, I am worried about the variable changing when the incoming the second-300byte packet changes the previous values of MSG variable. what is you idea?

Hi all,I'm working with STM32F4 disc board, I'm using PB8 and PB9 as interrupt input, those pin shared same irq handler  EXTI9_5_IRQHandler  I would like to know if it is possible to only deactivate the interrupt on PB8 before STOP mode but leave the interrupt on PB9, here is what I've tried but it's not working   __HAL_GPIO_EXTI_CLEAR_IT(GPIO_PIN_8); EXTI->IMR &= ~EXTI_IMR_MR8; go to stop mode   I need to do this because I wake up my board via PB9 but if an interrupt occurs on PB8 the board also wakes up...

I have an MT25QL01GBBB8ESF-0SIT controlled by an STM32F765VGT6 microcontroller. This was coded using C and the STM32 HAL in the STM32CubeIDE. It was verified working using different SPI commands such as read JEDEC ID, page program, etc. However, after writing to the nonvolatile configuration register, all the tested code stopped working.  Now, I am trying to fix this issue using the power loss recovery function and interface rescue functions of the flash memory. But the flash memory still does not work properly. Would appreciate help in fixing this issue. Let me know if any more information is needed. I have tried resetting the chip using software and hardware reset pin. I also have an exact duplicate of the chip connected to the same SPI line and verified all the code to be working properly except for the write nonvolatile configuration register function as I did not want to corrupt that chip as well. 

I recently started working on a custom board project based on an STM32G070CBT and using the SWD interface through an ST-Link Debugger. The previous developer is no longer working, and all he left behind was the Keil uVision project. So, everything should have been easy. I downloaded the Keil uVision IDE, got the STM32G0XX license for Keil uVision, added the exact compiler that was used for the project (6.16), compiled the project with no errors as expected, and then loaded the code into the MCU's integrated Flash. The issue here is that once the code is loaded, the MCU does nothing. I opened a debug session just to see that after a few lines of code executed, the CPU would stay idle on a certain instruction.Firstly, I thought it could be a problem related to the current code, so I decided to create a new, extremely simple project that toggles an LED. To my surprise, the issue remained, only that the CPU would stop at a different place.Things I've done to rule out

 I am using the STM32 G431RBT6 chip and UART 3 for data transmission. The transmission works normally, but after about 20-30 minutes, it suddenly stops completely. I am currently working on a project using the STM32U575ZI-Q microcontroller. I have successfully developed a bootloader for my application. I have developed a program that performs IAP (In-Application Programming). I am using single bank mode.The manual states:"An on-going Flash memory operation does not block the CPU as long as the CPU does not access the same Flash memory bank."However, I didn't notice any problem.My program runs in the address range 0x8000000-0x8010000 and the IAP programs the higher addresses.If the CPU is blocked what happen? Hello, I have a question about the FSMC and FMC protocols in the F4 series. Well, I have a configured 4" waveshare display configured for FSMC in STM32F407G. Due to lack of space in the flash, I am forced to add memory (I want to do it using QUADSPI, which this MCU does not have). So I decided to switch to STM32F469 which has QUADSPI. The only the problem is that this processor has the FMC protocol instead of FSMC, I wanted to ask what the difference is between these protocols and whether there is any significant difference in the case of parallel display support

Greetings, I am trying to blink LED using baremetal programming. I am just starting bare metal programming. My LED on Nucleo - F070 board is not being turned ON. I checked register values on data sheet and user manual and it seems to be correct. RCC and GPIOA are in different bus and I was confused a bit. How to connect two MIPI DSI LCDs to an STM32 microcontroller such that both displays receive identical data?

Hello,I am trying to implement the FDCAN in classic mode on the STM32G491 without the HAL. But I am havin trouble understanding how to configure and then use the CAN SRAM. I am not using the HAL nor CMSIS nor anyting else. Just the basic register definitions in a single h file. The bxCAN was way more simple and works great on a F103 (also bare metal). But the FDCAN on the G491 is somwhat more complex.I have setup a sample in STMCubeIDE and tryed to extract the information from there. But I just dont get how the configuration of the CAN SRAM section works and how I can then send or receive any messages through this SRAM. Does anyone have a working example of this in bare metal C?

Hello, ST expertE.g. GPIO PD4 functions as falling edge interrupt pin on STM32F407. Before the falling edge this interrupt is disabled by HAL_NVIC_DisableIRQ(EXTI4_IRQn).  What happened if HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ(EXTI4_IRQn) is executed after the falling edge? The interrupt will be ignored or be captured immediately after HAL_NVIC_EnableIRQ? Best RegardsYang
