HelloI am designing a board based on the STM32U5A9ZJxQ and I would like to use MIPI as the video output.On stm32 cube IDE it does not show the peripheral to enable it.Is is some kind of bug? Shouldnt be there?  Thank you

Hi there!I 've got a project where i use the STM32H757 dual core (Riverdi 7")the M7 core runs freeRTOS with Ethenet (ping and echo OK)the M4 coreruns freeRTOS with ADC  using DMA and some EXTI (working as expected)When starting the M7 core first and then the M4 core for debugging (AN5361 - STLink GDB Server) the Ethernet connection is interrupted (no successfull ping), when the M4 debug session starts. M4 DMA is set behind the user_heap_stack in the .ld file .dma_buffer : { . = ALIGN(8); *(.dma_buffer) } >RAM  Cheers!

I'm working on a project using an STM32H7 series MCU with FreeRTOS. I've customized the .ld file to configure the stack and have set up the internal ADC and DMA to continuously read and store ADC values. I've statically assigned the DMA data registers starting at 0x24000000. Initially, my project worked fine, but I needed to increase the execution speed, so I enabled compiler optimizations for speed.However, after enabling optimizations, I started experiencing a HardFault error which I've been unable to resolve. The error occurs only after the optimizations are turned on. Greetings,   I have a question regarding the IBIS model of STM32U5A9 family. in the setup of any pin there is model parameter that has to be selected. There are several models such as io100m_ls_xx_xxx. what exactly those models mean in terms of actual numbers. For example, in low-speed mode what is actually the speed clock and rise times are? are there references that explains the IBIS parameters and how to setup them up correctly?

I have question about STM32H7 QUADSPI clock configuration.It seems STM32H7 contains two different source clocks.If I select HCLK3 as the clock source for the QUADSPI Clock Mux, how is the QUADSPI clock frequency calculated? Regardless of selecting HCLK3, will the QUADSPI clock still be calculated as PLL1Q / (Prescaler + 1)?

As, i am using stm32g474ret6 nucleo board,  i try to generate a complimentary pwm signal with timer 1 (pin PA0 and PC13) it does generate properly it create a curve at the falling edge .now i change a variable and try to generate this wave of 200khz it becomes triangular wave.But in Timer 8 it generates properly with no error.Can anybody tell me why this happen only in timer1 ?  

Hi community people, As an introduction, please note I'm completely new to the STM32 world, and back in embedded world after a long break in the application level. I now jump in a new project that will be based on a STM32U5, and I start digging in documentation, code examples and ST ecosystem (MX, IDE etc.).I tried to find answer to my question, but failed. Either I did not look correctly, and I apologise in that case, or the answer does not exist.Here it is : the Nucleo-U575IZ-Q comes loaded with a demo software : LEDs (led1, led2, led3) blink change, and the speed changes according to the number of press on the user button. Appnote UM2861 says the source code can be downloaded from ST.com but I failed to find it. I have MCU package installed, and I do not find it in the source tree also. If you can point me to the source code of that exemple (and a IAR project is a cherry on the cake), I'll be very happy Thanks

Dear Community,I'm working on STM32H743ZIT6 based project.Here I want to set up 4 ADCs which have SPI interface.On developer's forum is said "If all ADCs will be sampled at the same point in time with the same settings, then the SCLK, CS, and SDI can be tied together".Also there mentioned: "Make sure the digital interface is able to drive all of the ADCs at once".Is STM32H743ZIT6 able to drive all of the ADCs at once?According to electrical characteristics:Digital high input voltage logic level - 0.7V x DVDD (min) / DVDD + 0.3V (max);Digital low input voltage logic level - -0.3 (min) / 0.2 x DVDD (max).DVDD = 3.3V Thanks!

i am using a stm32f401ccu6 board to receive modbus rtu requests from a master device(windows laptop running simplymodbus) and prepare the response buffer and send itso far i can see that the response buffer is being prepared as expected in the live expressions table, however whenever i am trying to send the message back to the master it is receiving the message with FF and 00 values at the beginning and end of the response for example if the response is 07 03 04 57 73 7A then the master is receiving FF 07 03 04 57 73 7A 00also i am using a rs485 transceiver along with the uart lines and the hardware seems to be working fine as when i programmed the stm32 to be the master and the pc to be the slave it was working perfectly fine what could be the issue

Hello, After debugging for a customer, I have found that all ST H7 related reference manuals are simply copy/pasting old Synopsys IP settings of the USB HS and/or FS core from an ancient databook. The new driver for the H7RS is again a copy of an existing driver to 'make things work'. Why is there no initiaive to develop a generic driver that works on all versions of the micro STM32F0-7, STM32H5-7, etc and maintain so many variants of the same sauce ?For example the HFIR timing seems to be off by one. Synopsys acknowledged that their previous databooks had an  error and ST seems to simply put forward the same error even on new released cores. So my question is basically: How much can we take your reference manuals for granted when it comes to what is actually inside the MCU ? Hi I am trying to generate interrupt every 100uSec using Timer-2 using stm32f103c8t6 blue pill. I have simply set the system clock to 72 MHz pre scaled the timer two by 72 time using 72-1 and setting counter period to 100. I have also enabled TIM2 Global Interrupt in NVIC global interrupt setting. I started this timer in main function by using following commandAlso, I used the interrupt routine using following code where I am toggling Pin A5 on each interrupt to test the interrupt generation.

STM32G071R8 & M95160-WMN6TP EEPROMWe have the DMA SPI TX direction working but are having issues with the data that is being returned. Technically this is a read from the EEPROM but the command and read address are sent first. The EEPROM responds with the 32 bytes of blank(0xFF). None of the data ends up in the DMA SPI RX buffer. When the DMA TX complete interrupt completes(when it's done transmitting 0x00 so we can receive data), the is nothing in the DMA buffer or even a 0xFF in SPI data register itself.The SPI is configured for full duplex and we have the DMA TX buffer(35 byte size) send out the read command and then 32 0x00's(three byte command + 32 blanks) so that the clock runs for the inc

I have a project where VREFBUF outputs 2.0xxV correctly without intervention. I created a new project and I see VREFBUF output stuck at 0V, and I'm not sure what's causing the changed behavior.  I inspected the VREFBUF_CSR register and I see ENVR=1 and HIZ=1. When I set HIZ=0 via StLink, I see the VREFBUF output pop to the correct value. I don’t see CubeIDE options to set this explicitly, but it appears there is some setting that manipulates this value. What should I look at?I tried adding both of the below lines to set the HIZ bit in user code, but it didn’t appear to change the HIZ bit when I checked via StLink. What could I be doing wrong?VREFBUF->CSR&=0b11101;HAL_SYSCFG_VREFBUF_HighImpedanceConfig(SYSCFG_VREFBUF_HIGH_IMPEDANCE_DISABLE);I'm also seeing DAC output drop to zero when the HIZ bit is set.
