Hi I'm trying to establish a communication using I2C with a MCP45HVX1 digital potentiometer device with the stm32g474-re discovery board, I'm using I2C2 module that has been configured with MX with interrupt enabled. I'm using PF0 as SDA and PC4 as SCL. The problem is that the function HAL_I2C_Master_Transmit_DMA(); returns HAL_ERROR firstly because the TXIS flag in the I2C->ISR register is never raised. In the internal registers, I see the BUSY flag being set and peripheral enable bit in the CR1 register raised. What am I doing wrong, it seems like the TXIS flag will never be set no matter what.Thanks for your time

I try to just toggle a led for each received frame (STD ID).With a logic analyser I checked the Rx pin on the Rx MCU and the frames arrive well. Hence my feeling that the problem lies at the level of the callback function where the MCU never go.Thank you in advance for the help you will be able to give me.

Hello,We have been using CANbus as our form of communication for a system with multiple nodes. Each node was individually tested with CAN and all of them work without issue. However, when we started system integration testing, we noticed significant noise on the CANbus channel that caused data to stop. To give more details, we are running 2 battery packs, a power electronics DC/AC converters (to create a 120Vac signal) and a central supervisory controller, which are all using STM32 MCUs to communicate to each other via CANbus. We are using an STM32H7AGI6, STM32F401RE, STM32F303RE. When we send a CANbus command to start the DC/AC converter, that is when the noise appears and we cannot communicate with the MCUs until the DC/AC converter is turned off. We have termination resistors at the end of the bus and I have verified that the 60 Ohm resistance is seen on the bus. Hello,I want to use a OV7670 camera module with my STM32U585CIU6, which has no support for DCMI. I've been trying to do an I2C address scan but I can't get the camera address. I'm using a custom board with 3 other modules that are properly identified in this scan, and this board also has 4.7k pull-up resistors already integrated to the circuit. I've done the same test with a second OV7670 module, but I got the same behavior for both. Furthermore, I tried doing the same I2C scan procedure, but connecting a LCD module instead of the camera, and I managed in getting the expected address. I don't know how to proceed in order to recognize my camera, could someone please help me?

Hello Team,   I need to connect following two devices with STM32H753ZIT6. 1. NAND Flash- MT29F64G08AFAA 2. RTC SRAM- DS1747WP-120IND+   Kindly review the attached schematics & let me know if any changes are required. I am little worried about write protection pin (W/P# - pin 19) in NAND flash as there is no specific pin in FMC for it. so have connected it just with one of the I/O pin of STM controller. same issue is with the RST# pin in RTC SRAM.   Thanks in advance. Hello everyone,I am currently attempting to convert PDM data (from a MEMS CMM-4030DT-26354) to PCM data using the libPDMFilter_CM7_IAR_wc32 provided by STM32Cube. However, the results I am obtaining are not as expected. I am expecting a 1000 Hz sine wave tone, but instead, I am getting what appears to be noise (refer to the attached image). It is important to note that the PCM data is being sent to a DAC, which is set to a frequency of approximately 16 kHz.My setup is as follows:I am using the SAI in PDM mode. We are using a GPIO pin in STM32H743IIK6 microcontroller in open drain configuration. In datasheet, it is mentioned that Vol = 0.4V at IIO = 8mA and Vol = 1.3V at IIO = 20mA. What will be the Vol voltage at currents higher than 10mA? How does Vol vary with respect to IIO?

When the bootloader is updated from the main appli, the start address at reset can be set to the start address of the main application. By this, it is assured that the device can still be started if the bootloader update could not be completed, e.g. bootloader flash erased but not completely written.On STM32F4 the start address at reset can be set by register FLASH_NSBOOTADD0R.But on the STM32H7R the start address register is only read-only, Reference Manual 8.5.1 is all 'r' at:SBS boot status register (SBS_BOOTSR), INITVTOR[31:0]: initial vector for Cortex-M7 (This register includes the physical boot address used by the Cortex-M7 after reset).Can the bootloader be safely updated by other means?Thanks in advance for any advice.

Dear sir/madam,I want to implement a USB audio DAC . And I have already followed the USB library for configuration of related files. When I am connecting the stm32f401VC discovery board USB connector to the host pc its displaying in the notification area. But its not producing good audio quality. So kindly check the related files . Hello.I am using STM32C0 to do FLASH writing, I want to use 4 pages from page12~15 to do FLASH writing because the data I want to write in FLASH is not enough for 1 page.Currently(1) FLASH unlocking(2)page12 flash erase(3) page12 FLASH write------------------------------------(4) page13 flash eraseWhen I design a program in this order, if I only write (1) to (3), it can write to page12 normally, but if I write (1) to (4), writing to page12 does not work either.Is it possible to write to multiple pages in one program? Also, when editing multiple pages, in what order should I perform flash unlock, erase, and write? Best regards,

I am setting up Timer 1 channel 3 on the STM32F4. I am looking to set up a period of 3.9ms or 256kHz. Hi STM team,We are using stm32h747, with CM7 we are reading ADC value in polling mode, when source is not conneted still we are reading 0.5 to 1.8 volts, when the temperature increases from 40 C to 60 C this ADC voltage reading increase with rise in temperature till 14V. We have also try to do ADC calibration on every 5 degree rise in temperature but still we are reading ADC voltage value where it should be near 0V as the ADC input was not connected. Regards,Snehal

Hi,I see an alias, using DFSDM (sinc3) and a PDM mic at 16kHz, while a speaker produces 1...24kHz.The spectrogram is attached.As I understand, the DFSDM filter has a notch at 16kHz rather than at 8kHz, and attenuates 8kHz for 12dB only.Is it possible to configure DFSDM such way to attenuate the alias much more? 

I am trying to figure out SPI communication between two microcontrollers: I have an STM32H755 Nucleo and a Nucleo G47RE. I tested basic communication by shorting MOSI and MISO on both boards separately, and it works in full duplex master mode. Both core are running at 100Mhz The G4 is the slave and it is receiving some data, but it is corrupted. Hi, I want to generate a 1 microsecond (1 µs) timer interrupt on the STM32G0B1RCT6 microcontroller using its internal clock(16MHz). I am currently using a 16-bit timer to achieve a 5 microsecond delay, but I cannot achieve a 1 microsecond delay. My question is: what is the smallest achievable delay in microseconds for a 16-bit and a 32-bit timer?

HiI am using STM32L476ZG MCU development board. I created a new project without adding any interrupts. I noticed that FLASH->SR = 0xC0 at reset and when I try to clear it, it comes back after the next command I execute.I'll add screen shots to clarify what I am experiencing.1- Just entered the code, no command executed yet2- executed `FLASH->SR |= FLASH_FLAG_SR_ERRORS;`

I am using STM32H503CBT6 with a frequency of 250MHz, but my program is not running. I have a counter variable in a while loop, but it is not incrementing. When I lower the frequency to 100MHz, the program works. Please help me!

In the Cortex-M7 (AT610) and Cortex-M7 with FPU (AT611) - Software Developer Errata Notice published by Arm on May 28, 2024, document version 11.0, at the end, is listed a new bug affecting debug sessions:3092511 - Cortex-M7 can halt in an incorrect address when breakpoint and exception occurs simultaneouslyIn practical terms, this means that the debugger may halt at the beginning of exception handlers instead of the expected BKPT.This is particularly annoying for applications with high frequency interrupts, like USB, since it makes debugging difficult.The openOCD and SEGGER teams are already aware of this and consider implementing workarounds to avoid the rogue halts.Hopefully STM will do the same.
