Hey there,I am facing a problem with the clocks on the STM32H755ZI. When I let a timer run at 50 kHz I get only smt. like 49.92 kHz out of it with sigma = 13 Hz. So there is at any frequency a steady offset of -1.2% and a sigma deviation of 0.03%. I have chosen as HSE the Crystal/Ceramic Resonator and the APB2 of the timer runs at 200 kHz.With the Nucleo 144 STM32F767ZI I get for similar settings basically 0% frequency offset and sigma deviation of only 0.0003%. So I am wondering what has changed between these discovery boardsH755:

Hello,I am using the MCU : STM32H745XIH6 in my currnet product from last couple of the years and it is working fine till.Recently, we face the issue in I2C line.I2C3 line connected with,Super capacitor Board through connector(there is I2C IO expander to contol the charging IC)Also sensors are connected through connectorI am not sure but the issue is coming after adding the super capacitor board.ISSUE : - After some power cycle of the MCU board, I2C3 lines are shorted with the GND so we need to remove the MCU and solder the new and then it is working but after some power cycle of CPU,same issue is observed. So it is not easy to solder the BGA package manually and we lost the MCU also.As we are planning to purchase the new stock of the MCU as we have used lots of MCU in rework but without solution we are worried to purchase new stock.Kindly look in to the matter and resol

Hello,I have a relatively simple program where I am trying to go into stop 0 mode while my ADF uses GPDMA to fill a circular buffer with callbacks triggered at half and full (i.e., double buffering). The goal is to go to stop 0 mode between callbacks but although I can go into stop 0 mode, my system fails to wake up from it. The ADF is clocked from MSIK and I have verified via a scope that the clock output is active when in stop 0 mode. HII need a simple timer that can make a PWM signal BUT with custom pauses or a relax period every number of pulses ... I want to use two internal comparators to monitor current in a circuit.  When the current gets above a level I want to turn off my switch, when the current falls below a level I want to turn on the switch.  This needs to be done at a speed that is too fast and precise for software to handle (the off time can be as little as ~1uS and must have high resolution and minimal (nS) delay).  I could use an external SR latch that is reset by the high current level comparator and set by the low current level comparator (I have done this in simulations and it works well), but I was wondering if there was a way to emulate a fast SR latch using the internal hardware, like perhaps using timer compare hardware or something similar.  The processor I am currently looking at is the  STM32F334xx.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi,1, Im searching for an mcu which can handle a HS/FS communication(sends data to PC 50*8830bytes) with a PC, and an USB fs communication with a external 4 port hub. the hub will connect 4 stm's which sends data(1316 bytes) periodicaly and sincronized  to the main mcu. 2, Does any of the possible MCUs require some extra hardware on the either of the USB ports, if it has 2 separate USB peripheries to handle the PC communication and the HUB communication? 3, On the coding side, what do i need to know to make it working? 4, If need more experience, who can do it ? possible timeline 3-4 week

I can read text back on my terminal but I never gets executed again.

Hello,I want to use an OV7670 camera with my STM32U585CIU6 MCU. I've done all connections but failed to identify the camera module with I2C. I have then removed the wiring and just kept the following connections: 3.3V supply, GND, SCL and SDA (pull-up resistors are already integrated in my board). I've been simply trying to identify my camera address, but still can't succeed and I would appreciate if someone could help me in understanding why. The I2C pins are properly assigned on CubeMX. I am attempting to install the appropriate software packages so I can use my STM32H723ZG. However the 1.11.2 file cannot be unzipped.  The IDE reported the error and I confirmed it by downloading the package and attempting to unzip it manually. Please help me remedy this as soon as possible.  Maybe a valid zip file needs to be uploaded?

Hello team, I am trying to connect external NAND flash with STM32H753ZIT6. my concern is with respect to FMC_ALE and FMC_CLE pins as, in Pin no. 80 and 81 these are multiplexed with address lines whereas pin no 98 and 99 can also be used as FMC_ALE and FMC_CLE. i just need to confirm both the pins are same or is there any difference in these pins?   Thanks Nikhil

I am facing the problem of data integrity, the logic is something as shown below i am taking the CAN rx data from the interrupt and processing in while loop.   uint8_t g_candata_u8=0; int main(void) { Initilializations(); while() { if(CanMessageReceived == TRUE) { LCDDisplay(g_candata_u8); } } void CanRxInterrupt() { g_candata_u8 = RxBuffer[0]; }   The problem i am facing is the g_candata_u8 is getting corrupted. The value g_candata_u8 which is acclerator pedal percentage from 0 - 100% received from vehicle shall be less than 100, but the value displayed on the LCD is sometimes shows greater than 200, most of the time it is less than 100 and as expected.  I am suspecting the above method of code implementation is a problem. What is the best method to process the rx data?

Hi,I want to use the RTC timer on the STM32WB to run FreeRTOS in both normal and STOP modes (For HAL time base I use Systick). When the MCU has no work, it goes into STOP mode. If the MCU needs to wake up for timing, like from a FreeRTOS timer, I set the RTC ALARM A to wake it up. When the processor is running, it needs to tick for FreeRTOS every 1 ms.My question is, should I use the WKUP (wake-up periodic interrupt) to tick every 1 ms, or set ALARM A with a mask for periodic timing like this:LL_RTC_ALMA_SetMask(RTC, LL_RTC_ALMA_MASK_ALL); LL_RTC_ALMA_SetSubSecondMask(RTC, 3); Which option is better? Posted on February 13, 2018 at 13:16The current data sheet for the STM32F303CC (DocID023353 Rev13) shows on page 80 the characteristics of the LSI oscillator.Its frequency starts from min. 30kHz to typical 40 and max. 50 kHz (all at 3.3V in the max. allowed temperature range).In the same document on page 93 there is a footnote regarding the LSI frequency range to vary from 30 to 60kHz.Now I am a little bit confused what maximum value for the LSI frequency is the right one for my watchdog timeout calculations, 50kHz or 60kHz max?
