Hello.I need Timer for send high speed data.To send data, i need at least 115200 fps.Can you recommend which MCU is perfect for me?

I'm working on a NUCLEO-L073 board that embeds a cortex m0 STM32l073 MCU that does not have any FPU. I'm using the SW4STM32 eclipse environment. I saw that gcc proposes some options : https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc-4.5.1/gcc/Half_002dPrecision.html but i don't know how to set flag or use their specific libraires to activate this feature.I you have any idea, please feel free to share your thoughts about my issue.Thank you very much.Best regards,Aurélien

Hi, I am using a STM32G431KB board with STMCubeIDE. I am trying to read out the one ADC using DMA but have run into problems. As I am new to the STM32G4 and STM STMCubeIDE. I decided to follow the example of Shawn Hymel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsZLgqhqfO0. A number of other examples are available which are essentially the same.I got the single conversion example working correctly. This tells me the ADC is working.The ADC-DMA example did not work and despite several weeks of investigation I am unable to find the reason for this. I have attached the key parts of the main code. This sets up the ADC and immediately before calling HAL_ADC_Start_DMA writes a constant value of 2047 to the ADC buffer. Hi,I wanted to use STM32H743 with TFBGA100 package in a new project. Unfortunately this package does not provide Vref+ pin and it is internally tied to Vssa. I don't understand what is the reference source for ADCs and DAC, can I use VREFBUF in hold mode? But then where should I connect the capacitors mentioned in an5690?Regards

Hi.I am using STM32H7B3LIHQ MCU, MX25LM51245GXDI00 OSPI flash, IS42S32800J-6BLI SDRAM and 24bit TFT screen. I used the schematic of the STM32H7B3I-EVAL (MB1331) board when creating the scheme. I wrote programs for FMC, OctoSPI and LTDC peripherals using the sample programs and they all worked. I also used the "AN5050" and "AN4861" application notes for OctoSPI and LTDC.Then I created a new project by bringing all these peripherals together. I activated TouchGFX and made the necessary configuration. I created a test screen with TouchGFX, compiled the project and it worked. I enabled external loader in debug configuration settings There are 2 different .stldr files. "MX25LM51245G_STM32H7B3I-EVAL-REVA.stldr" and "MX25LM51245G_STM32H7B3I-EVAL-REVB.stldr". I selected "MX25LM51245G_STM32H7B3I-EVAL-REVA.stldr".

I am experiencing processor freezes at certain points of use in our products using STM32F4.I am analyzing the cause and have a question regarding this.The processor I am using is STM32F469NI. There is a specific operation that it freezes at, and when it does, it intermittently, but not always, goes into a state where it can't process other operations at all.The main characteristic of this behavior is the frequent occurrence of different interrupts with exactly the same priority down to subpriority.One interrupt is the EXTI3 IRQ, and it's almost periodic at about 30 Hz. The other is the USART1 IRQ, which occurs when data is received at baud rate 115200 at the time of the problem. These two kinds of interrupts are identical, with a priority of 5 and a subpriority of 0. I wonder if the accumulation of pending interrupts that can't be handled at the moment is causing the processor to go into an abnormal interrupt handling st

I'm using Vbat as a battery voltage monitor on an STM32L431.  Vref is the VDDA pin on this part, which is 3.3V.  In my test case, Vbat is also connected to the same 3.3V.Vbat reads a raw count of around 1044.  The internal divider is /3, so this comes out to 3132 counts, which on a 12 bit ADC with a 3.3V ref comes out to 2.52V.  This is with a 3.3V input to the Vbat pin.  So, my technical term for that is "not even remotely close".The ADC is set for 640 cycles conversion time (so it's not running too fast), it is calibrated, the Vref measurement is correctly reporting the 3.3V, another external channel reading a test voltage correctly.I have confirmed through the debugger that VBATEN is set (it is actually CH18SEL on the L4, the HAL uses the VBATEN naming but it is the same bit), so the divider is enabled and connected to the ADC. What else could be wrong?   

Hi i encounter this error while compiling SPI1 at ST7735.h, i dont understand as this error 'SPI_HandleTypeDef' type was generated by .ioc in main.c already and i had call this statement in ST7735.h. Could anyone kindly help? error: unknown type name 'SPI_HandleTypeDef'   --> in st7735.h  // st7735.h #define ST7735_SPI_PORT hspi1 extern SPI_HandleTypeDef ST7735_SPI_PORT;  

I am using a STM32U031 part with register level configuration (no Cube libraries). The Timer should be straight forward to start in a single-shot mode but when I set the LPTIM_CR_SNGSTRT flag in the CR register, the CNT register never increments and the SNGSTART flag never shows up in the SFRs window when debugging. If I run the timer in continuous mode, it works okay. I know the reference manual talks about a delay after enabling the timer. I've tried adding a 100us delay as a test after enabling it and it didn't work. Besides the code below works with continuous mode and it also doesn't work when stepping through with the debugger.    // I also tried just clearing LPTIM_CR_ENABLE which didn't work. Both 'U5 ADCs contain the LFTRIG bit; however, I could not find in either 'U5 datasheet the Tidle value above which this bit has to be switched on.JW 

Hi all, I'm trying to receive UART data from an xbee module, I've noticed the xbee is sending out the data correctly (using a logic analyzer) however the STM32L431KCU6 is not receiving this data properly and instead seems like the data is being buffered somewhere? I have a timer counting the time from a start byte and if no further bytes are received for 10ms the timer ISR will terminate this frame reception. The fist message I send generates a timer interrupt however I only see the first byte of the data, when I send the second message I am able to see the full frame of the first message. Then when I send a 3rd message then I'm able to see the second message. with time this message difference increases and can reach 4/5 messages difference. I'm unsure what's going on and where is this data being buffered?  Appreciate any help.      s

HelloI am starting a project with a STM32U585CIU6 and an OV7670 camera module. I want to use the DCMI interface to get the data, and I'm using the Introduction to DCMI to STM32 MCUs document as a reference.STM32U585 datasheet mentions the support to DCMI and provides all the respective pin definitions. I want to configure the GPIOs with an embedded synchronization (using therefore 8 data pins + 1 pin for DCMI_PIXCLK).However, I can't see the DCMI function in any GPIO pin I try to use. For example, STM32U585 datasheet mentions the following alternate functions for pin PA9:TIM1_CH2, SPI2_SCK, DCMI_D0/PSSI_D0, USART1_TX(boot), SAI1_FS_A, TIM15_BKIN, EVENTOUTBut my .ioc file provides the following functions when I select pin PA9:

Hi, I have an inverter project designed with stm32g474xx and there is a "h-bridge" topology in the system.Can I create a uni-polar PWM to get three-level output while controlling this topology with hrtim1? Can hrtim1 generate two complementary PWM outputs with 180 degree phase different ?  

Hi, I need to trigger DAC1 and DAC2 from HRTIM Timer A on a STM32G474. I have set the DAC Sync option inside the HRTIM Timer A settting to generate a DACTrigOut1 event that triggers my DAC1. But DAC has a separate Trigger event that also works for DAC2 if set in TimerA seetings. It either triggers DAC1(DACTrigOut1) or DAC2 (DACTrigOut2), but I cabt find a setting to trigger both DAC simultaneously. Is there a option for that?Thank you guys for any hint on that!Benedikt

We wish to bootload a STM32H503RB using USB. This works on the NUCLEO-H503RB, but after resetting the processor on our PCB with BOOT0 high windows reports "Device Descriptor Request failed".AN2606 states that CRS is enabled for the DFU to allow USB to be clocked by HSI48 48 MHz, but is there anything CRS needs to work?

Hi, Im referring F429 eval board fmc sram code. For Nucleo f439, I changed to bank 1 and bank addr=0x60000000 with R/W from e.g. and init from MX tool.The issue I see is on receive, the values are not the same (compared to TX) when buffer size>128 

I am wondering if VSSA voltage can be slightly lower than VSS? If so, what is the maximum allowed difference?The reason why I ask is because I would like to measure voltage slightly (0.2-0.3V) below the common ground attached to VSS. I looked in several DSxxx documents (e.g. DS13195 and DS13196) but, to my surprise, I found no info/specification. I guess, a separate VSSA pin was made available on some MCUs so the voltage could slightly differ from VSS.Could anyone advise?

I need a MCU with a USB host controller. It seems to be hit or miss as to which STM32 chips have this feature. I've tried the product selector on both this site and Digikey, but "host" is only ever listed in the datasheet, so this has proven fruitless. This feature is key to he project I'm working on. I need to be able to connect a keyboard to the chip and be able to read the key presses. The rest of what I need is mostly IO and SPI/I2C, so I'm otherwise not to picky. Still, I'd like to avoid wading through the muck that is the ST MCU lineup, chip by chip, if at all possible.

Hello STM team,I'm working with STM32h745 project. in that interface 7 external ADC using SPI and I want to continuously read ADC data and send using serial usb. So now my function executed one by one sequential manner but Some ADC data loss. So I want to run ALL Function parallelly. So what you suggested to use RTOS or any other.Suppose I used multi-threading using FreeRTOS vs Azure RTOS which is better?

I'm using CubeIDE and I want to have an output compare event on TIM1 CH1 trigger an input capture event on TIM8. It doesn’t seem like there is a way to do this with normal timer functions and CubeIDE. Is it possible if I work outside CubeIDE?As a backup, I believe I can also use a DMA transfer triggered by TIM1 CH1 output compare to save TIM8->CNT to memory. Is this a viable solution?
