I'm trying to use Núcleo H7 spi 1 to send a message via radio with NRF24L01, the code using HAL worked perfectly on an Stm32F103 but when i try adapting it to the Núcleo it just don't work. Can somebody help me up? The SPI clock is 100MHz , the core clock is 400Mhz

I'm trying to write a driver for the nRF24L01+PA+LNA. I am using STM32F103, and on the receiver side I have an ESP32 with Arduino IDE and the RF24 library. To rule out a hardware issue I have programmed the STM32 using the Arduino IDE and library and the transmission works perfectly.My library currently transmits only 10-20 times per second and the data it sends seems to multiplied by two or shifted once to the left. Also the last byte in the payload seems to be always changed to a seemingly random number between ~140-255. The payload I'm trying to send is: uint8_t payload[32] = {1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17, 18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32};  The data I receive is something like this: 16:17:14.877 -> 2 4 6 8 10 12 14 16 18 20 22 24 26 28 30 32 34 36 38 40 42 44 46 48 50 52 54 56 58 60 62 247

Hello team, We have another challenge with STM32h725 controller, What I am trying to do and achieve is, Setup few external ADC over SPI bus with DMA. The ADC on SPIs other than SPI6 works perfectly. But the SPI6 is not with regular DMA but with BDMA. The ADC works normally with SPI6 normally without BDMA (polling mode) but does not work when tied to the BDMA. In both cases (working and not working) I am using the default code generated. This is a custom board designed around STM32H725 micro. I have found a similar post with no solution, STM32H7 SPI6 not working with DMA · Issue #6257 · micropython/micropython (github.com). Would appreciate an early support on this. Regards  

In the lab with a power supply (10V 0.5A) connected to the DC bus of the IHM16M1, the 3 phases of a DC motor, and some oscilloscope probes on the GPIOs of the STM32F302R8 I probably created a short (I don't know how, I deduce).I deduce this because now the STM32F302R8 is not detected by the CubeIDE ... the LEDs light up when I connect it to the pc's usb, but if I debug it it gives me an error saying it does not detect it. I have (thankfully) another one that works, so it's not a problem.The problem is that when debugging the code that via the FOC algorithm controls the motor, one of the 3 phases (the "W" phase) of the IHM16M1 driver remains at 0! In fact, only the onboard LEDs related to phase U and V light up. - Let's assume that my code is all written correctly ... so, for the moment, no questions about the code- I have disconnected the IHM16M1 driver from the STM32F302R8 several times by testing the individual GPIOs that "enable" the uControll

Hi,I have an application where I am trying to read some pulsed inputs from an optocoupler (for isolation) which consist of pulled high inputs on the STM32 MCU, the problem is it keeps crashing when connected directly to the optocouplers randomly when they change state? When I connect the digital inputs directly to the ground rail (0V) or float the input pins the software works fine and doesn't crash at all?Is there something interfering or causing the pulled high inputs to cause this issue? Is it best to use external pull up resistors or a series resistor? Thanks 

Hello,I'm trying to setup a SPI communication through DMA but I can't receive data.I use a STM32H7 microcontroller as a single master to reach a single slave. I would like to transmit 1 byte, and receive 1 byte in return. To start the transfer, I call the HAL function :HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive_DMA(&hspi1, au8BufferTx, au8BufferRx, 1);au8BufferTx and au8BufferRx are both 129 bytes big, which should be more than enough to transmit/receive 1 byte.The DMA1_Stream2_IRQHandler() (I use DMA1_Stream2 to transmit) is first called when the byte is transmitted, then DMA1_Stream5_IRQHandler() (I use DMA1_Stream5 to receive) when a byte is received. As I undretsand it, it means that DMA transfers are completed. Then HAL_SPI_TxRxCpltCallback() is called. Though, the content of au8BufferRx is never updated. Any idea on what is happening there ?Thank

We apologize for changing the subject again and not responding to your request, but today we discussed this project with our teacher, who told us to first focus on the implementation of Wake on LAN and to be satisfied with putting the device in standby mode without NetxDuo (which we can easily do). However, we still have difficulty implementing the wake-up through the Ethernet mechanism, so I wonder if it is actually possible with our board. Hi there,I've crated a STM32H7 project using the Riverdi 7" example from touchGFX which starts up with no errors showing a picture on the screen.When I add a circular DMA buffer for ADC3 in the M4 context (only).  Hello,I have been working on creating an SPI loop using the SPI callback function to alternate between two sensors that share a common SPI SDI/SDO line. However, I am encountering an issue where the SPI transfer complete callback is triggered, but the SPI transfer seems to not be fully completed because neither an error is called nor a data is transfered. As a result, the cycle stops after 2 or 3 iterations. I am unsure how to resolve this issue or understand why it is happening. I am using STM32H7B3LIH MCU and Newhaven "NHD-4.3-800480CF-ASXP" TFT. I completed all the configuration according to the instructions in AN4861. I am trying to show an 800x480 image on the screen using framebuffer. I use "LCD image converter" to convert the image file to hex. However, if I choose the pixel format RGB888, I cannot create a proper image on the screen.

II am using the SPI function in STM32F373R8T6. When I use the HAL_SPI_TransmitReceive function to send and receive data, I want the  to read the data from the slave immediately after sending. However, when using this function, the NSS pin pulls up for a period and then pull down  to read. How should I configure it? The timing I desire is as shown in the reference diagram below. thank You.for reference, I pulled up nss pin because if no pull, nss pin remains low level.ps: I tried to setNSSPMode = SPI_NSS_PULSE_DISABLEbut when I do this, nss kept high level during the transmission.

Hi, I have been using an STM32F405RGT6 in a design for a the last ~5 years and am investigating a problem where the bootloader has stopped working at some point in production. Our design started with the 'Y' revision of the chip and previously used STM32CubeProgrammer as the bootloader. We don't use the boot pin method of entering the bootloader and instead just jump to the address during runtime to start the bootloader. The IRQ and Clock settings are reset state before jumping. This method worked on this 'Y' revision with bootloader version 0x31. On a more recent production run of our PCB, the chip version sourced became the '4' revision of the same chip, but now containing the 0x91 version of the bootloader. All code to jump to the bootloader is the same from the previous chip revision, however the bootloader is now not being found by STM32CubeProgrammer. I get 'Error: Activating device: KO. Hello people. I've been trying to get SMBus working on an STM32H5. I've see threads on here which use the SMBus HAL. For whatever reason, I wasn't able to get those to work, maybe because I'm not handling all the possible events appropriately.What I was able to get working was using the X-CUBE-SMBUS package. It seems to add a lot of code, and to determine if a transaction is complete, I poll to see if the SMBus is ready, which I don't like, but at least I can read a register.I haven't found any code examples for this package. The documentation (https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/x-cube-smbus.html) is reasonably detailed with flow charts, but for some reason there aren't any code examples. Can anyone point me to a working SMBus implementation, either using just the SMBus HAL, or using that and the X-CUBE package?

This is my first time using STM32 Cube IDE. I have run into the problem where after I program the board and everything says successful. My board does not execute my command. I have tried giving the came code to both cores so they both have something to do but that didnt work either. Here is my code. Hi all, I'm currently developing a project with STM32G474RETx. I find on the HRTIM module, there is a function called swap mode (as the figure showed). I'm really curious when this function will be applied, is there any scenario? 

I'm working on a project where we have to program an STM32 board to enter stop mode and only wake up when an Ethernet packet is received (wake-on-lan function). I started by installing the ThreadX OS with NetX Duo and simply enabling stop mode, but it doesn't wake up! I programmed the user button to generate EXTI interrupts, but nothing happens.
