Hello.I am creating a board with an STM32H7R3Z8J6. I am wondering what I should connect DVDD to? My intuition and "experience" says that this is the "Digital power supply pin", but it doesn't really make sense to make that distinction on this type of component, since it "digital by default", and then you have some analog parts (which you supply through VDDA).The "Getting started with hardware development for..." app not doesn't really specify much, it says that it's "Digital supply for the USB HS PHY". This indicates that it's a power supply and should thus be connected to the rest of the VDD net (or some other voltage). I am using USB on this board (D+ and D- connected to a USB connector), but I have connected both VDD50USB and VDD33USB to VDD (3.3V), which I got from some other spec.There is also a diagram:

Hi,I need to implement a Bootloader for an STM32L452RET6 as follows:- using a uSD card over standard SPI (not Quad SPI)- using the BOOT0 pin option- using the ready available ST libraries My questions, if someone could please help out, are:1) which library can I use? And is it literally plug and play or do I need some additional code?2) in the uSD card do I put just a single .HEX file? i.e. how does the bootloader know which file from the uSD card to read to upload?3) I assume I can use any SPI port, and just configure the code in CubeMX, correct?4) OPTIONAL... is there a way to upload firmware to a blank micro with this uSD? So I’ve been following a udemy course and I’ve been picking things up and learning how to change registers for peripherals and how to enable them and such but the course just tells me what I need to enable bit wise to enable the specific peripherals but I just had a thought, if I didn’t have this course, where would I find what I need to enable? Is it in the data sheet and I’m not looking hard enough? Like for gpio I need to enable the port clock before I can configure specific pins

The QSPI is working fine, I can write and read using the standard library.But when using external loader, it can never write the data correctly, though I can read using Cube programmer.this is the data I am getting instead ofI am using the loader files for H7 devices and I followed the examples by STM and other. Theirs seems to be working but not mine. Like the data is twisted upside down. Must be something simple somewhere in the code but

Hi, I am using battery voltage charging as a part of my project. For some reasons my voltage reading in the prototype is 1.18 V and the ADC reading in my debugger is 1.25 V. This totally different for different module. Physically all modules are measuring 1.18 V across the resistors but ADC reading in debugger changes to 1.22 ,1.26,1.28.

Any writes, erases or reads to flash range greater than 0x8100000 fails. When I inspect the region via Memory browser in STM32Cube IDE all memory beyond 0x8100000 appears as a "?" indicative that a read is not being allowed. Being new to this controller and STM family of devices , I'm not sure what configuration I am missing. Can you please provide any hints or tips

We are using STM32L452CEU6 with 48QFPN package and trying to enable internal voltage buffer (VREFBUF), by using HAL_SYSCFG_EnableVREFBUF(), always timeout happening in this function. Is it because of no internal volatage regulator available on the controller?Asking because the data sheet saying "The VREF+ pin is double-bonded with VDDA on some packages. In these packages the internal voltage reference buffer is not available". Below showing the schematic and VDDA and VREF+ is on same pin (pin 9).If the VREFBUF is not available in this package, shall we connect the pin to VDD

Hii,  I am using STM32H503RBT6 controller. I have a requirement of frequency modulation in my project. Based on a GPIO state i try to switch between the frequencies of 200k and 300k. in my configuration, by default i configured for 300k and after shifting to 200k by GPIO state, there is some small glitch of PWM pulse. Again when i try to shift to my old frequency based on the gpio state, the PWM duty is mismatching. Hi friends, I have to use Keil uVision5 Software to flash My Source code to STM32F407VET6 development board Instead of using STM32CubeIDE.But I have facing one problem during select the clock frequency of Crystal  in Keil uVision5 Software that option is disable, I could not to enable the option and Unfortunately i did not set the Crystal Frequency. I have a weird one. Using an STM32H723 Nucleo board. The MOSI line for SPI2 is giving me trouble. The edges are slow (see picture). All I am doing for this test is transmitting on SPI2 with nothing attached but the scope. I am using STM32CubeIDE and the MX config tool. What could be causing this?

Hello everyone, Im working on a Program that i have written in a StateDiagram way. I have 3 buttons wired to my micro, with a strategy to avoid boucing.this a part of my program where if the button is PRESSED then we add 1 to the variable "Day". The problem is that because the while(1) loop is very quick, the incrementation is very fast. I have experienced to put a Delay after but this is not precise at all and a too short or to long press on the button would ruin it. SO, do you have a solution for me that even by pressing longly, the value of Day would not increment more than 1 time ? I hope ive made myself understandable, im wainting for your suggestion if(PbState[1] == PRESSED){Day++;}  

Hello,I have an STM32F746 in an own PCB design. A 128 Mb DRAM IS42S32400F is connected to the FMC pins, similar as on the STM32F746G-DISCO board. I can write and read data but there are errors which occur in a systematic way:I start writing 16 bit data at address 0xC000 0000.Data is stored at the the correct address. But, the strange thing is that the same data appears simultaneously at a second location either 32 byte above or below the intended address. How can this happen? How can data be stored at two locations with one write command? A memory dump screenshot is attached.I have double-checked all connections and fiddled with timing - but no success.In my design I didn't care about matched trace lengths. Controller and SDRAM are about 4 cm apart. Could this be a reason?I can also observe the same problem on an LCD sreen since the SDRAM is also my frame buffer. The test loop is very simple:w

Hello everyone.I have an application that is based on FreeRTOS and works in power saving mode with STOP3 mode. I have configured each WakeUp pin and all the necessary arrangements for the entrance and exit from low power mode. However, so far I've experienced big troubles at Wake Up: the microcontroller detects a hard fault in the FreeRTOS utilities (debugging from __get_PSP() I've got the Program Counter and Link Register related to the uxQueueMessagesWaiting function, every single time the fault is detected).I've tried everything: increasing the size of the stack to be allocated to the OS, being careful to be within the maximum size, re-initializing the system with SystemInit()... the microcontroller resets giving no more information than I shared. I attach the main features of the system in use:- Interrupt Vector Table relocated at: (0x20000000UL)- Boot loader at 0x08000000 which verifies program file integrity then jumps at it

Hello STM32 Team,I am using stm32loader to load binary data onto the dual-core controller (STM32H745ZI). Below, I'll outline the steps I've taken:Firstly, I visited https://pypi.org/project/stm32loader/ and successfully loaded the bin data into the single-core controller (STM32H723), and it flashed successfully.However, when I uploaded a new program to the STM32H745ZI (Dual-core controller) board using stm32loader, one by one flash the bin file, the upload process was successful, But when I disconnect the power, remove the boot0 pin, NRESET pin of board and again connect the board to the USB, it works fine.Below, I'll share the stm32loader logs for further analysis. I am using SPI CRC feature of STM32H563ZI.My ST Master must transmit an 8 bit CRC with a polynomial 0x07.It receives a 16 bit CRC from the slave (a different hardware). The ST Master must now compute a 16 bit CRC with polynomial 0x11021 and verify the received response's CRC.Is this possible?

Hello,We have been using two SRAMs (CY7C1061G30-10BV1XE) & one NAND Flash(MT29F8G08ADAFAH4-AAT) interfaced with STM32L562 micro-controller on same FMC bus. We have initialised FMC and try to access SRAM1 by selecting Chip select: NE1 and Bank 1. It is being observed that there is mismatch between Read and Write Data in Bank 1 (FMC Base address: 0x60000000). Also, we have tried to change the various parameters' values as configurable under FMC Initialisation (like: Byte Lane NBL set-up timing and other SRAM timing parameters), but this all could not help us and data mismatch persists. Hi. First time I have posted here. This problem is driving me nuts, so hopefully someone might lead me to a solution. I am under extreme time pressure with this project and need to solve this very quickly. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated and I'd owe you a beer at least.I am using STM32cubeIDE ver 1.15.1, generating C code. Code for all I/O functions work fine, except the SPI. In fact, whenever I try to excercise the SPI, the CPU resets. The nRST line on the CPU glitches to 0V and then resets. Nothing Is driving that reset line, other than the S-LINK/V2, so the reset is happening within the STM32L151. The application is driving on the SPI port two RF chips: the CC1120 and the SX1276. I have checked SPI various lines and there are no shorts and no obvious schematic errors. Both have independent SPI chip selects. I want to design a custom PCB for my program and use the same STM32F411, but this time in an STM32F411CE format.Using STM32CubeIDE, would it be possible to flash the custom PCB with the STM32F411CE with the exact same code as the STM32F411RE since everything looks identical inside the chip? I'm looking at AN2606, section 65.1 and it looks like UART 4 can NOT be used by the bootloader to load FW into the part. Can someone confirm that is true?

I am using 2 Nucleo-H563ZI boards, one as controller and the other target, and referencing the knowledge base post "How to set up and run the I3C_Private_Command_IT controller and target example projects" yet I am getting an error.
