See DS13560 Rev 4 (Datasheet of STM32G0B1RE)please. On the right side, it said "Six USARTs with master/slave synchronous SPI; three supporting ISO7816 interface, LIN, IrDA capability, auto baud rate detection and wakeup feature". I'm now writing courseware for my students and i cannot explain what is "USART with SPI", seems to not be "Serial peripheral interface".

I have board using a STM32F756 that I need to update the firmware from internal flash. I am  able to copy .bin file from an external  flash to internal flash  (Using QSPI).  I do NOT want to execute the code from the external location. Hello,I am trying to implement a bootloader, which will take a look each time it starts to an external flash memory (AT45DB041E) to see if something is written into it. If the external flash contains new data I need to read that data an write it to my internal flash memory. I am using STM32L4xx microcontroller and I have correctly implement the SPI peripheral in order to communicate with the external flash since I am able to read its manufacturer ID. However, I don't know how to use the read function that I have implemented. Before continue let me tell you that, this external flash is written by a LoRa module and contains a binary data from cloud which is actually a new firmware. All I need to do is to manage some how to read those data from the external flash but I don't know how to start. What buffer size should I use when I am using the at45db_read function which I have implemented? Since the external flash memory is 4MBIT I can't read it all, so where to start reading dat

Hello! I'm following the STM32 tutorial on External interrupts from here and got stuck. The controller doesn't react to the press of button and the IDE for some reason switched to tab of `startup_stm32h503rbtx.s`. Reproducing steps:1. Create a new project (STM32 Project)2. Select Nucleo H503 as target board3. Go to PinOut and configuration, change mode of  PC13 to GPIO_EXTI134. HI team,I am working in NUCLEO-F439ZI board, now I am doing multi-channel ADC, in that I selected ADC 1 for getting the data, in ADC1 select CH3 and CH10 and Internal Temperature sensor. The data from CH3 and 10 work fine, but the internal temperature sensor value was so what different. Check my code where I do the mistake. Hello,I am quite new to STM32, so I would highly appreciate your help.I am using an STM32F407G-DISC1 board.I am trying to generale phase shifted complementary PWM for PFSB control. I am using TIM1 CH1/1N to generate one pair of signals, and TIM8 CH2/2N to generate the other. To obtain the phase shift, I am using Output Compare No Output Mode at TIM1 CH2, which generates an interrupt that controls the counter of TIM8 via ITR0. When I modify the initial pulse configuration, the phase shift is achieved correctly (oscilloscope picture, yellow trace for TIM1 CH1 and blue for TIM8 CH2). However, when I try to vary TIM1->CCR2 in order to change the pulse value and essentially change the phase shift, nothing happens. Below you can see my configuration and change of CCR2 value:

I have a setup on a dual core STM32H755 device with each core measuring two ADC channels with shared pins at different sample rates. The M7 core measures ADC1 Ch15 and Ch5 at 1MHz@14bit, with a sampling time of 1.5cycles (20MHz ADC clock prescaled by 2 down to 10MHz) and the M4 core measures ADC2 Ch15 and Ch5 at 1kHz@16bit, with a sampling time of 64.5 cycles (ADC clock also prescaled down to 10MHz). Both of these are read by DMA, with 1024 samples captured at a time in the M7 and 250 samples captured at a time in the M4. I have a peak detection algorithm which looks for significant spikes in the captured window, and on the M4 core, this is occasionally triggered when no stimulus is applied. Looking at the window, it seems that the majority of the datapoints are "locked" at one particular value, with only a handful of values displaying any sort of randomness that would be associated with the signal I'm capturing. Hello,I have an STM32H750B-DK board which includes two quad SPI flash chips (MT25QL512ABB8ESF-0SIT x 2).When I use STM32CubeProgrammer to write or erase the external flash, the erase operation can only be done in 128KB units.I thought the sector size of the flash was 64KB.Why does STM32CubeProgrammer show the flash size as 128KB?Thank you for your help.  

Hello,Does ST mirco provide a readmade Touchscreen HMI solution which can be interfaced with an existing system and display inputs received through the exisiting system on the display with minimum modifications, should be easily configurable and adapt to variety of inputs for e.g. such as modbus. I spent many hours trying to make the SPI3 works through the use of the HAL but it was doing weird things (not clearing IRQ flag so ISR was continuously called).Then I found that SPI3 is limited to a size of 1023.I also found on this forum other people having the same problem with SPI3, so I think some improvement can be done:- It would be great to have HAL function return an error when called with a too big size.- On STM32CubeIDE SFRs, SPI3.SPI_CR2 should have a TSIZE[0:10] instead of [0:16]- In RM0456 Rev 5 page 2924, I think "TSIZE cannot be set to 0xFFFF respective 0x3FFF value when CRC is enabled." is wrong (0x3FFF instead of 0x3FF, respective of what ?). I think something like this would be better "TSIZE cannot be set to 0xFFFF (0x3FF for limited feature) value when CRC is enabled.".

I have an STEVAL-MKI109V3 and the MKI238AA evaluation boards.I was unable to communicate with the MKI238AA with the UNICO-GUI software so I updated the firmware on the MKI109 with the ProfiMEMSToolV3.60.7 .bin file using the STM32CubeProgrammer following the instructions in the video below.ProfiMEMS Firmware Update using STM32 Cube Programmer (youtube.com) The MKI109 LEDs now do not switch on when the board is powered via USB and the device is no longer detected in the Device Manager.The blue LED still switches on when I place the device into DFU mode but I am unable to interact with the device outside of this mode.I am running Windows 10.What can I do to resolve this?

Hi all,I try to remove the readout protection on a F767 by using a Host processor which communicates through SPI with the F767. I followed the instructions from AN2606 & AN4286 and if the Readout protection is not set, all the commands are executed as expected by the F767 bootloader.According to AN4286, if the Readout protection is set, only a limited set of commands (including Readout Unprotect command) are supported, which makes sense. Nevertheless this command Readout Unprotect: 0x5A+0x92+0x6D does not work when the Readout protection register is set to 0x55. I have tried also the other commands such as Get ID / Version which should work with the Readout protection set, and they don't.The boot0 pin is set to 1 all the time.Am I missing some additional settings to make the F767 bootloader communicate on SPI, if the Readout protection is set?Thank you!

Dear Community,I am porting an old application made on AVR to STM32, and I am facing a strange timing issue. In a nutshell, the application is reading sector (512 Bytes) from a SDCARD and output the content of the buffer to GPIO with 4us cycle (meaning 3us low, 1 us data signal). The SDCard read is working fine, and I have written a small assembly code to output GPIO signal with precise MCU cycle counting. Using DWT on the debugger, it give a very stable and precise counting (288 cycles for a total of 4us).When using a Logic analyser with 24 MHz freq, I can see shift of signal by 1 or 2 cpu cycles and so delay. I have tried to use ODR directly and BSRR but with no luck. Attached :- Screenshot of the logic analyzer

Hello Team,I am using an STM32F469NIH6 in my project and the following is my use case: I need the timer 8 to act as a slave to its ETR pin, which is PA0. I have a signal coming out on the PG7 from my daughter board and I have connected PG7 and PA0 via a jumper. I also need the same timer to trigger a timer DMA transaction upon overflow/ CC My observation is that the timer 8 is getting triggered well and the DMA transaction is also happening well. But the signal that my daughter card sends out on the PG7 holds a different duty ratio. ie- the ETR pin is actually sending out some signal, which is corrupting the signal on PG7. In the present case, I am also setting the PA15 (SPI1 Chip select) low for initiating the SPI DMA transactions. The signal integrity issue is seen only when the DMA is triggered while PA15 is set low. Things look fine when PA15 is highHere are my register values:

Hi ST tesam,When I use  HAL_SMBUS_Master_Receive_IT( ) to receive data from device ,I can not got the information directly after the HAL_SMBUS_MasterRxCpltCallback( SMBUS_HandleTypeDef *hsmbus ) was complete.(I had set a flag when HAL_SMBUS_MasterRxCpltCallback( SMBUS_HandleTypeDef *hsmbus )  done)I had to wait for a while and then I can read data from register, but what can I do to know when the saving process was complete? Regards,LSN

Hi !An application I am working on has a PC connecting to an ethernet device (currently through Ethernet) and a STM32 (STM32G0B0CET6) through USB.I am looking to only have one connection to the PC through USB, hence I am looking to have the incoming USB plug into a hub, going to the STM32 on one side and a USB-Ethernet bridge on the other. All devices are self-powered (not through USB) and the STM32 does not have to talk to the other device at all. The USB hub I am looking at is Microchip's USB2412.I am mainly wondering if there is a "standard" way to make sure the STM32 will enumerate fine through the USB hub as I am not too familiar with USB. It looks like the hub has pins that can signal that it is ready and enumerated, and it looks like downstream devices should only boot after this is the case in order to enumerate. Perhaps it would be possible to instead hook this signal to the RESET pin on the STM32 ?Thanks a lot in advance ! Bes

Hi,I'm working on a STM32H755BIT6 with a custom PCB layout, which uses direct SMPS supply hardware configuration.I'm migrating an existing Keil project which was created with STM32CubeMx 6.7.0 to STM32CubeMx 6.11.1 and I discovered that the option PWR_DIRECT_SMPS_SUPPLY is now unavailable.I wonder if this is a bug from CubeMx software or if it was remove on purpose to force user use another hardware configuration?

I'm using an STM32L051K8. I'm writing words to EEPROM. It takes a lot of time to do that. I read in the datasheet that it is possible to do a half-page write that will take the same amount of time as a single write. How do I write a half page? Do I use the PROG bit and the FPRG bit?

I followed the excellent tutorial by Nicolas Fillon for STMicroelectronics about the matter, using SDMMC.First of all, the SDMMC1 is Disabled and cannot be enabled, which is why I can only consider SDMMC2.
