Hello, I recently upgraded my STM32 CubeIDE for VS Code extension to the new release with clang integration and project navigation. When getting the popup below I went ahead and disabled IntelliSense. However, I then lost my navigation capabilities such as "jump to" etc...... For now, I have IntelliSense re-enabled but would like to migrate to clang. Is there a step I am missing here?   

Hello.In CubeMX, there is a Bug with a wrong Clock of USART2 and a wrong BRR-ValueI've used CubeMX to configure the Clock, based on the Nucleon-H563.For the USART2, i want to use the stable crystal oszillator (25MHz) from the Board (not the HSI-Clock)So i configure a 125MHz-Clock on PLL2Q and set this as clock for USART2.The Baudrate should be: 9600.After generating code, the baudrate of USART2 ist 3078,81 Baud (measured). To calculate the uart baudrate divider (USART2_BRR), MX use the: STM32Cube_FW_H5_V1.5.0\Drivers\STM32H5xx_HAL_Driver\Src\stm32h5xx_hal_uart.cIn Function: UART_SetConfig(UART_HandleTypeDef *huart) Line 3329, the usartdiv is calculated with: 407( (125000000 / 32) + ((9600)/2)) / 9600 = 407But with this, a wrong baudrate is generated (3078,81Baud) If i use 130 as divider, the Baudrate is near correct, because the USART-Clock seems to be 39,9013776MHz instead of 125MHz .What is the reason for the wrong clock of PLL2Q or the BRR? 

I am trying to do tcp client application with stm32n6570-dk board and when  I select RGMII mode in ETH1, ethernet interface is grayed out in network interface settings in netxduo. How can I fix it? Cube IDE versiyon is 1.19.0, CubeMX version is 6.15.0 -RC7.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.When I try to open the IOC viewer either the IDE freezes or the view isn't rendered properly, as you can see below. This misbehavior breaks my working flow and makes me waste a lot of time. Any ideas?

Hello ST team,I would like to report a pin mapping issue in STM32CubeMX when configuring the LTDC peripheral in RGB666 (18-bit) mode, especially on STM32H750 (and other STM32H7 devices).Problem descriptionWhen selecting RGB666 (18 bits) as the LTDC color format, CubeMX automatically assigns 7 bits to the Red channel instead of 6.Example of generated mapping: RED: R1–R7 ← 7 bits GREEN: G2–G7BLUE: B2–B7 This results in a RGB766 (19-bit) configuration, which is invalid for the LTDC hardware.The correct mapping for RGB666 should be: RED: R2–R7 :white_heavy_check_mark:GREEN: G2–G7 :white_heavy_check_mark:BLUE: B2–B7 :white_heavy_check_mark:

* board - STM32N6570-DK*  using STM Cube 1.19.0* firmware v1.2.0Test projects* USBPD_SNK/USBPD_SRC So i'm trying to do PD with the STM32N6, but i can't seem to be able to test the example code from ST.  When i run USBPD_SNK, it just doesn't seem to work.  I get a weird no source available issue.  I thought it was because of ThreadX, but i tried VENC_USB and that example worked fine.  The USBPD_SRC also fails to work.  I don't know if this a STMCubeIDE problem or something weird with the specific PD usb examples.

Hey there,Is there an option to turn off the prompts after programming in the STM32CubeProgrammer?The Log output is enough for me:Not really a problem, more like a QoL thingy - but i didn't see an option anywhere.Would be a nice addition if it's currently not present. Like "only prompt on errors"

For quite some time now, both with the STM32CubeIDE and now with this VSCode extension, empty projects lack the device specific header files that will be needed to work with the selected device. Usually, the way I have done it in the past is that I navigate to the STM32Cube repository folder to copy about six header files and the system source file to my project directory. It is cumbersome.I believe I have made a post regarding this before back in 2020, Why does creating an empty project not add header files Some workarounds were to create a Cube project and then delete the .ioc and HAL files as well as removing the compiler defined symbols that specify to use the HAL driver. This works and I have been using this method. However, it is a bit cumbersome, and I think that if the empty project already contain bare-bones files for the selected device, it should also include the necessary device specific files as well to save some of the burden of locating the relevant files and c

I am using STMCube IDE and I fetched STM example project Lw_TCP_Echo_Server to be loaded into my STM Evaluation board Nucleo-H7S3L8. With some effort, I got it working. I want to use this project as a code base for my actual Ethernet project.I want to archive this original, unmodified, intact, as is project into a git repository (not on GitHub yet). I want the repository to look exactly like the current project in my workspace (all files and folders intact). I cannot seem to do this. The example is a nested project and all attempts to commit have resulted in lost files and butchering the file folder structure. I end up with two visible projects in the Project Explorer (one in my workspace and one in my git repo) and neither one builds. I have tried  'team share projects', 'project copy paste', 'create from existing IOC', and anything else ChatGPT has suggested with no success. I want to do this under STMCube IDE not on the command line. I generated an STM32 project using STM32CubeMX for Keil (MDK-ARM).In Keil, functions like HAL_GPIO_TogglePin() don’t show up in code completion (IntelliSense).I found that in Project → Options for Target → C/C++ → Include Paths, the paths use / (for example ../Drivers/STM32F1xx_HAL_Driver/Inc) instead of \.If I manually change / to \, code completion works — but STM32CubeMX changes them back after every code regeneration.How can I permanently fix or configure STM32CubeMX to generate Windows-style include paths (\) for Keil projects?

In STM32CubeMX 6.15.0 / Win11 I generate a default CMake project for the Nucleo-G431KB board.The generated cmake/stm32cubemx/CMakeLists.txt contains:# STM32CubeMX generated symbols (macros) set(MX_Defines_Syms USE_NUCLEO_64 USE_HAL_DRIVER STM32G431xx $<$<CONFIG:Debug>:DEBUG> )but the board is a Nucleo-32, not 64. Hello everyone, I am facing a serious problem setting up the BLE_AT_Client example on my B-U585I-IOT02A board, as flashing the STM32WB5MMG radio module fails.Initial situation and cause of errorThe problem started when I aborted the flashing of the FUS firmware (stm32wb5x_FUS_fw.bin) via CN5 (external ST-LINK). Since then, the radio module has been in an inconsistent state.Error pattern and steps takenThe main problem is that I can no longer completely flash the three essential server files (FUS, BLE Stack, BLE_AT_Server).1. Hi, good evening. I'm currently working with STM32CubeMX (version 6.15.0). I've configured the main options, pin assignment, generated the  .ioc file, but I cannot create the code.Once I click on 'create code' I get stuck here:Fyi, the .ioc file is in the same directory as the firmware, i.e. C:/Users/matte/STM32Cube/Repository/Also, the .ioc file is in the same disk as the program.Finally, I've deleted the .stm32cubemx folder, as I've seen others did, in an effort to solve a similar problem. Same behaviour if I try togenerate code from STM32CubeIDE: Is this something you've encountered already ? I have a freshly installed stm32cubeide 1.13.2 on my ubuntu 22.04 machine and I've created a new workspace with a new project. In the beginning, everything works fine. But after generating code, closing the ioc file tab, closing the IDE and reopening the IDE with the same workspace and attempting to open the IOC file, it opens a blank tab failing to render the IOC file. If I close the tab and reopening it, the IDE hangs sometimes, or fails like before. It also seems to be using a whole lot of cpu resources. Reinstalling the IDE did not solve the problem.

Background: I am trying to bring up simultaneous operation of both FDCAN peripherals on an STM32G0, but due to a combination of unfamiliarity with the clock internals, and a misleading baud rate calculator, I spent a while trying to debug what I thought was a non-functioning FDCAN2 peripheral, but was actually working at an unexpected frequency.   FDCAN1 configuration: FDCAN2 configuration (noting that the prescaler is 8, while the clock divider is 1): with this configuration, FDCAN2 transmission works as expected (verified using a PEAK CAN dongle) at 250kbaud when I am running it on its own in normal operation -- started the FDCAN2 peripheral using HAL_FDCAN_Start(&hfdcan2). However, if I also start FDCAN1, then I can no longer read any transmissions from my CAN dongle. After unsuccessfully attempting to debug the issue in firmware, probing my CAN lines revealed that FDCAN2 was operating at 30kbuad (250k/8 = 30k). I am using STM32F411CEU6 on a blackpill. I have the Adafruit microsd card SPI module and a 4gb clouddisk sd card. I have tested the connectivity, reading and writing of the module and SD card on a Arduino UNO so I know it is compatible and the module isn't broken.Following this tutorial: https://01001000.xyz/2020-08-09-Tutorial-STM32CubeIDE-SD-card/ and other video tutorials online about the same topic, the farthest I've gotten is getting it to say FR_NO_FILESYSTEM when trying to mount the SD card.
