cascading STA309A for 6channel digital audio mixer

Hi,

Please suggest a method to design 6-channel audio mixer using STA309A.  6 Bluetooth devices will be interfaced to the SDI inputs of the mixer and the 6 mixed outputs will be given to the BT modules through SDO.

hi Manesh ,

the mixing feature could be implemented biquad filter setting , please refer to datasheet page 60~61.

there are 2 mixer inside STA309A , and you can adjust mixing ratio  (from 1 to 0) from 8 channels input in each channel . or you can mix them after EQ processing .

Is there any option to connect 6 I2S devices?  The application is for mixing audio of 6 Bluetooth units with I2S interfaces. I feel that anyway requires more that one STA309A.

hi Manesh ,

for 6 channels  I2S bus input , means that you have around 12 channels audio input , you have to use 2 pcs of STA309A in series ( one for 4 channels I2S input mixing , another for 2 I2S channel input plus 1 mixed I2S input mixing ).
