Hello there, I'm trying to fix some issue with an audio valve preamp and need to find voltage regulator to replace old one which is a N940 from ST, but I can't find any info about it, do you know any datasheet about it or replacement part ? best rega

    Imagine this is probably a transistor, not a regulator

    The N940 is a production/date code

    The part number looks to be TIP90, perhaps TIP30, hard to read, need a better/clearer picture of the third line.

    yes it's written TIP90

    thanx a lot for identifying the type transistor ! :grinning_face:

    I don't find any datasheet about this one or some pieces to buy..

    maybe you know some other that can replace it ?
