STA309a stereo input to 2.1 output

Hi!

STA309a documentation is little bit lacking on this topic, so some explanation is needed.

Required configuration:

Single stereo I2S input on SDI12

Two I2S outputs: stereo to main speakers and mono to subwoofer

Questions:

1. What is the correct output I2S mapping: SDO12 to main speakers and SDO56 to subwoofer (right or left)?

2. Can you tell if the following configuration is correct?

AMBMME and AMBMXE bits enabled (bass mix and crossover)

CSS and RSS set to 10 (off)

SUB enabled

FSS and XO bits sets according to speaker configuration

Hi JSLV ,

Normally the channel configuration was  channel 1/2 for main channel ( left and right ) , channel 3/4 for rear channel ( rear left and right ) , channel 5/6 for center and woofer .

the setting is right ,but those configuration had been used for 6 channel input according to dolby digital specification , then if only 2 channel input was available , the output must be adjusted .

due to mixing setting was not matching .
