Question

TDA7266M max input voltage

What is the max signal input voltage for the TDA7266M? We will be trying to merge a tube preamplifier with a 7266 power amp to make a small guitar amplifier. We can always shunt input signal voltage with a zener as the tube pre has a fairly large output signal.

No max input voltage is specified because the gain is fixed at about 26dB, so the signal is clipped/distorted anyway when overdriven.

I would recommend to limit the peak-peak input voltage a bit lower than VCC, i.e. the amplitude below VCC/2.
