TSB582 exposed pad

Hello,
can we connect the exposed pad of the TSB582IDT to GND in the PCB layout?
There is nothing mentioned in the datasheet regarding the exposed pad.

below table 1 of the data sheet there is a footnote that answers your question:

Exposed pad can be left floating or connected to VCC-.

Please note that we are talking about VCC- here. Only if VCC- is identical to GND, i.e. in single supply mode, the exposed pad may be connected to GND.

Thank you. I had an old version of the datasheet where the footnote was not available. We use it in single supply mode, so VCC- is connected to GND.
