What is the difference between TS924ID and TS924IDT? There is noting I can see on the datasheet that explains this...

Looks like T=Tape&Reel packaging (no functional difference).
If you look in datasheet section5 you will see the last 6 entries are all Tape&Reel and have T,
while the first 4 entries are Tube -or- Tape&Reel, with both no-T and with-T part numbers listed.
