Hello, I have been trying to make the AEK-MCU-LNK work with my SPC56 discovery board with OPENOCD (I reached a dead end trying to make the .cgf files). So I have two questions:

1.- I understand that the AEK-MCU-LNKU works with this SPC56 family using UDE. Is that true?

2.- I saw in another post (https://community.st.com/t5/automotive-mcus/stellarlink-vs-spc5-udeskt/td-p/64794) in the last answer, that AEK-MCU-LNK with the UDE driver should work with SPC56 family. Can you please confirm this?

Thanks,

Agustín

Hi,

AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK is used with OpenOCD and works with SPC58 only!

AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKU is used with PLS UDE and works with all SPC5x.

Hi,

SPC56 does NOT work with OpenOCD.

SPC56 can be debugged with UDE PLS (AEK-MCU-SPCLNKU).

But the documentation on AEK-MCU-SPCLNK (https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/aek-mcu-spc5lnk.html#overview) says that "USB/JTAG debugger dongle for SPC58 automotive MCUs", doesn't that mean that it work only with spc58?

while Stellar doesn't marked with any limit on family
