We are selecting a controller for our new Automotive project with CAN - FD connectivity,

We are now shortlisted SPC560D controller, But it is having FlexCAN.

So want to ask you that, Is CAN FD and FlexCAN is same?

    Hello,

CAN-FD and FlexCAN are not the sane

FlexCAN support CAN protocol but does not support CAN-FD protocol.

If you are looking at automotive microcontrollers with CAN-FD please have a look at SP57/SPC58 family:

    https://www.st.com/en/automotive-microcontrollers/spc5-32-bit-automotive-mcus.html

and then select SPC57 or SPC58 devices.

Or see this brochure (just for SPC58 Chorus devices):
