Hello,

I would like to make a native Linux build of the ppc-freevle-eabi toolchain that is shipped with SPC5Studio; the toolchain comes with a readme.txt with some release notes, but it does not state the origin or where sources can be found.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Are the sources available as a whole, and if not, are the changes made to the default 4.9.2 gcc available somewhere?

Thank you,

    Hello Gert ,

    The gcc

    ppc-freevle-eabi toolchain

(4.9.2) is coming from NXP-Freescale side.

the source code is coming from nxp community.

    https://community.nxp.com/docs/DOC-333045

We are using the similar core on PowerPC microcontrollers (MPC56-SPC56)

    Linux version is working well.

               Best regards
