Using L9177A with hall effect sensor

Not sure this is the right section...but I would like to know if it is possible to use the L9177A with an hall effect sensor, in that case, I guess the signal is to be routed to the VRIN+ input, what about the VRIN- input?

Must be connected to GND or to a some threshold voltage? whats the level of the signal the L9177A will recognize with hall sensor signal?

Thanks a lot.

    Hello ,

Sorry , i am not the expert of this IC.

According to the RM , there is a VRS interface (cf screenshot)

Maybe , you can use it.

    Hello Erwan,

thank you for your reply, I have read the datasheet before to write, as in the datasheet it is stated the VRS circuitry could work with hall effect sensor, I tested connecting the hall signal (0 to 3.3V square wave) to the VRIN+ and connecting the VRIN- signal to GND without succcess, this is why I asked for help.

    Thanks,

    Best regards.
