What board are you using ?

If you are using an ST board with an embedded ST-Link make sure you connect the board on the USB port marked ST-Link.

Also, you may download the STLink firmware upgrade to upgrade the firmware on the ST-Link https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-link007.html

    and the driver https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-link009.html

Some Flight Controller? Be SPECIFIC, perhaps cite a web page for the specific hardware you're talking about.

Device might not be powered correctly

Device might not be in the correct mode to connect. Is there a BOOT button, are you connecting via USB?

Does ANYTHING show up in Device Manager? What?

    Try a different cable

    Try a different port

    Avoid docking stations and hubs

Tips, Buy me a coffee, or three.. PayPal VenmoUp vote any posts that you find helpful, it shows what's working..

Sorry, i am using a SP Racing F3 as flight controller, and on it is installed the STM32. The whole thing is to manage a x220 wizard.

I tried out to change port, usb cable, also with boot button, but when i connect it to pc in device manager, in particular in "USB devices", there isn't STM32. Thanks for the answers.I attached the manual about the FC.I tried on modeling sites but nobody can give me answers and I think it's a problem with the STM32.

According to the documentation you need an external standalone ST-Link to program and debug the embedded MCU
