Modal fade of the page for no reason

Dragged a mouse accidentally over this post down there. Pressed at least one or both of the left/right mouse buttons at the same time. The screenshot has not been modified...

The only interaction with the page, that still works:

1. Scrolling. Also middle (wheel) click does only scrolling anywhere on a page and doesn't open links in a new tab, like it normally does.
2. Ctrl+A (select all). The left click cancels the "select all", but cannot do anything else.
3. Right click.

Happened on a Vivaldi browser, which is Chromium/Blink based.

Just happened to me, too. I'm not sure what caused it - I've scrolled down to the last post of the thread and then clicked a couple of times on it without thinking too much what am I doing, and boom, the whole thread went grey.

Getting with some feedback here. We were not able to replicate this issue, so the recommendation would be to clearing the cache and cookies from the browser and see if the problem persists. If so, will ask you to screen record this behavior.
