Pasting images not working

  • February 24, 2026

For the past week or so, pasting images directly into posts seems to have broken.

I used to be able to just take a screenshot, or copy an image and paste it straight into the editor, but that no longer works.

I press 'paste', and nothing happens - no error messages or anything.

I am now having to save the image locally, and then use the 'Insert Photos' button to import it.

There is history with this, but now it seems to have just broken completely.

Using Chrome Version 145.0.7632.109 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Windows-11 Pro

Same experience here. Edge browser. Was wondering if it was just me.

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

We are aware of this issue and are currently working with our platform provider to resolve it. Unfortunately, we do not have a timeline to share at the moment.

Thank you for your understanding,
Maxime

Probably related to this, I have 3 times now had only part of my post go through. The rest of my post is lost and I have to retype it. The part that is lost start at an image I include.

I'm not losing my mind. There's no way I would only post a one word sentence response here:

Edit: the screenshot I put in this post disappeared when I hit the yellow "Reply" button.

I think I just had this happen.

I hadn't seen it happen before, so looks like a new issue?

Indeed, @TDK , the fix has not yet been implemented. We will inform once it's done. For the time being, please use the other existing option:

1. Picture upload in the text editor:

@TDK @AScha.3 also dragging & dropping still works.

@Maxime_MARCHETTO1 @Lina_DABASINSKAITE  It's still not working, but the behaviour has changed.

I just tried to paste am image; it still didn't work, but I did get an error this time:
