I think these pinned topics are no longer "news", and should be un-pinned?

Thanks for this opportunity to explain why these posts remain pinned: they refer to the new STM32 product families announced during 2024. That is why we prefer to keep them pinned.

I don't think that's really the purpose of the forum?

Wouldn't they be better in the "News" section?

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Indeed, those type of news will be part of the recently launched @Developer news (st.com) in the future. We are now in the transition period, so the news, posted before the launch, are present in the original location for the moment but will be reviewed with the respective teams.
