This liner is put to protect the sensor from soldering.

To use the sensor, you have to remove the liner. If you use the sensor with it, it explains your  faulty measurements.

Hello,

What do you mean by physical infrared filter ? Is it the liner on top on the sensor ?

Indeed, the physical infrared filter is inside the sensor.
