VL53L4CD emitted optical power value

Has anyone seen documentation or done optical power measurements for VL53L4CD? I’m trying to find the radiant energy or optical power output of this low power time-of-flight device.

(I only succeed to find a graph showing the relative emitted power in their datasheet)

When the device was certified as a Class 1 laser the needed to be tested and the total emitted power calculated.

So, ST has that number.

But they don't put it up on the web page. I think they are trying to keep the details quiet.

So here is what you do...

Go to ST.com and click on 'support'. From there you can open a trouble ticket and ask for the certification documentation.

Someone will send you the document.

It's mind-numbing to read and very difficult to completely understand, but somewhere in there is the number of micro-joules the laser emits.
