Will the same cover glass I am using for the VL53L1x work for the VL53L5CX as well? while I found a reference to this cover glass in the VL53L1x data sheet, there is no recommendation for the newer part. I am using the Hornix IR080C0-IC09-A066-2

No - the L5 sensor is larger.

But by now the new cover is up on the Hornix web site.

Everything about the L5 coverglass is the same - except it's size.
