Question

Balun Open Tx pin

Hello,

I'm using BALF-SPI2-02D3 with the S2-LP chip at 433MHz.

However, my application is only for reception, and no RF transmission. What should I do with the Tx pin on the Balun? Open, Resistor to GND or Capacitor to GND?
I also need the same answer for the S2-LP TX pin.

Thank you!

Hi,

why not just connect as its designed to be ?

Leave open an TX might be a bad idea , if it doing anything with rf power on.

And if you only use the reception then , so no problem to have the inactive Tx connected.

Hi.

I won't leave it open unless recommended.
I don't want to connect the pin to avoid another source of interference and noise into the design.

Thank you.
