Bluenrg-2(M2SP) module advertisement failure after a while.

Hello i have been using bluenrg-2 module for quite some time and i have noticed that after working well for the 2-4 days continuously sometimes the module does not show up in scan request i.e. it does not advertises. I'm sure the while there is an advertisement issue the device is working well because that i can verify via the device logs which are generated by the device application code.

Has anyone else faced this issue if so please help me out.

Hi Altamash,

Some comments for your reference to further investigate.

What are the tasks for the module during the 2-4 days continuously working? Could you narrow down to a short period before the issue occurs?

When issue occurs, does the module receive any packet correctly?

If you perform a software reset through the application processor, would the module work around?

Is is possible to connect through SWD to understand if the firmware is still running?

Is the module always in sleep when advertising is stopped? You can verify it by checking VDD1V2. If it is always low it is in sleep.

Is the stack raising hci_hardware_error_event() sometimes?

What is the value of the HS_STARTUP_TIME?
