Can ST67W be directly controlled from an Ethernet Switch?

Hi STM team,

I would like to know if/how I can simply connect e.g. the ST67W611M1 or another WiFi module to a switch IC, e.g. the KSZ8795CLXIC, without needing a microcontroller. Or is there a switch IC that can be connected directly to the ST67W611M1, e.g. with SPI?

If possible, do you have an application, a sample circuit or a development board for me?

The ST67W611M1 is not a standalone solution - it requires a Host processor.

I asked the question here; the answer is here.

 

Note that KSZ8795CLXIC is a Microchip product - nothing to do with ST - so you'd have to ask Microchip about that.

Its SPI is for configuring the switch itself - not for the switch to configure a WiFi module (or anything else).
