Question

Have you seen the source code to the MFX?

Hi All,

Some of the grander Evaluation/Discovery boards use an STM32L152 as a slave Multi Function eXpander with an I2C interface. It's pre-programmed with firmware that provides access to some of the peripherals on the board.

As it happens, I'm about to develop the exact same thing. I'm an engineer, so I don't want to reinvent the wheel (especially since that wheel is a pretty good fit). However, it seems ST hasn't released the source code for the MFX. In fact, they barely describe the interface.

Does anyone know if the MFX v3 is open source and where I could obtain it?

Cheers

David

Here we are, four years later and having the same idea of using the MFX I/O expander pretty much as it is used on several ST eval boards.

I notice no replies, any chance anyone knows where the MFXSTM32L152 firmware is located?

Thanks in advance,
