I know there is an Application Command interface for the BLUENRG-M2. Is it similar to AT commands? I did not foud anything about AT commands in their documentation

It is because Application Command Interface (ACI) would be more like Host Controller Interface (HCI).

In fact, it is an extending of HCI, with vendor specific HCI commands and vendor specific HCI events.
