IAR ARM 8.50.x can't find the processor BlueNRG-LP

Does the DK example only work under IAR ARM 8.4.1?

Ye, version from SDK release note is 8.4.1

Now, from my test I can confirm that there is no issue with recent version.

If BlueNRG-LP is not supported by your IAR version, a Add-on pack is available on SDK (Utility folder)

You may refer to below extract from SDK release note :

Hi,

Yes : it should be the correct folder. This is your IAR installation folder.

EWARM_BlueNRG-LP_Flasher_2.0.0 is a Add-on for IAR.

It uses same folder hierarchies ad architecture as IAR installation folder.
