The manual says that in the fsk modulation mode, you can select one byte or two bytes for the unique word, but I actually tested it and found that the communication when set to one byte would fail. The fault is manifested as the ST7580 has been sending the PHY_DataIndication command to the STM32 when it is confirmed that there is no data transmission on the power line. The length is random and the data is not fixed. At this time, when there is data on the power line, ST7580 cannot receive information. In addition, when the unique word is configured as two bytes, the data on the power line can be received normally, but occasionally ST7580 will still send the PHY_DataIndication command to the STM32, and there is no data on the power line at this time.

Hello,I'm using Nucleo l4r5zi-p in which I configured the USB device CDC. When I transmit data using the CDC_Transmit_FS function some time it returns USBD_BUSY, sometimes USBD_OK so because of USBD_BUSY I'm not getting actual speed. But I'm transmitting continuous data then why does it return USBD_BUSY?Thanks,Yash

How to bypass this ?If we configure PD2 and PC12 In schematics it is mentioned as USART pin but in MX the same pin is configured for UART5. Hi there,I am using an S2-LP transceiver on a custom board. I have it transmitting and receiving packets correctly using a basic format packet. However, if I leave the transceiver in RX mode, the 'RX buffer almost full' interrupt fires intermittently even when I haven't sent it a packet. When I read the RX FIFO, the data is meaningless. How do I stop the transceiver from receiving these 'packets'? I used the S2-LP DK GUI to set most of my registers, and my preamble and sync word values appear to be set correctly. I have also enabled the SQI filter and set the threshold to 0 - a perfect sync word match is required. Due to this, I am not sure how an erroneous packet could be received?Thanks,Rebecca

Hi, We are having issues putting the BLUENRG-MSQTR on our board into the hci transmit test mode. We call the following two methods and they both return success but looking on a spectrum analyser, I don't see anything transmitted. ret = aci_hal_set_tx_power_level(1,7);ret = hci_le_transmitter_test(27,30,0);Calling other methods such as aci_hal_tone_start I can see the module transmitting however we require the hci_le_transmitter_test for compliance testing.Testing on a X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 development board we can get the hci_le_transmitter_test method to work and comparing the SPI communication of the BLUENRG-MSQTR vs  X-NUCLEO-IDB05A1 they look almost identical. We are wondering if anyone has any ideas how to get the BLUENRG-MSQTR to transmit in the LE test mode.

Hello,In a working "version 1" of a cutom PCB, I used a SPBTLE-RF chip to communicate with my STM32 MCU.MOSI, MISO, CLK, RST, and IRQ pins are wired to the MCU. RST is materially pulled-up, and IRQ is materially pulled-down. MOSI, MISO, CLK are configured as SPI bus lines in the ioc file, while RST and IRQ are materially wired but let as Reset_State pins (means high impedance?) in the ioc file so never used nor configurated in the code.In my actual "version 2" of my custom PCB, MOSI, MISO, CLK, are wired to the MCU. RST and IRQ are notmaterially wired to the MCU anymore. BLE_RST remains materially pulled-up with same resistor value (10kOhms), and BLE_IRQ is materially pulled-down (10kOhms). The SPI initialization pins in the ioc files are exactly the same (data bits, baud rate...) in both version.Issue : I cannot initialize the BLE chip.I tried :1. solder the BLE_RST to the MCU and set the pin in the ioc as GPIO output 0 default value. then, wait for the power supply to be stable, wait

I have a problem with a couple of BLUENRG-M2SP modules. I tried flashing the firmware under linux (We have to flash 100+ devices and each device needs a different firmware so plug and play flashing is not sufficient enough, so I copied ST's config from the flasher utility) and the operation failed with the following error message: 'Error: Erase command failed (timeout)'. Hi Friend,We have an old project using BlueNRG-1. The project is peripheral. Now, we want to modify it to a new project. The new project has a custom 128-bit uuid and two 16-bit uuids. Two 16-bit uuids are based on the above-mentioned 128-bit uuid. One uuid is for read data and the other is for write data. BLE chat or BLE Sensor Demo or BLE throughput\Server bidirectional or other examples. Which one is more suitable?Thank you in advance.

Using AN5651 Update procedure and configuration in DTM firmware for X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1, I upgraded the firmware image to the latest stack image. I connected the ST link V2 and flashed the "BLUENRG-M2SP_DTM_SPI.hex" file with the BlueNRG ST link utility. After the device was flashed successfully, the ST link V2 lost connection to the device and could no longer connect to the target. The SWD settings are the same as before: 100kHz, low power mode enabled, etc. I have tried restarting the application, power cycling the board, and trying different SWD frequencies, but nothing seems to work.The interesting thing is that the M2SP is fully functional. The BLE application on my main nucleo board still functions with the BNRG2A1 as before, so I know that the new FW was flashed correctly. In fact, I verified the reported FW version from the M2SP had changed to the new version number when debugging my nucleo board application. It seems that the new FW image I flashed has somehow disabled SWD.

Hi,I'm trying to implement an Eddystone beacon with interleaving frames, e.g. UID + TLM, using a BlueNRG-MS and BlueNRG-2. I can configure the BlueNRG to act as a beacon broadcasting one of these frames but I don't see how to go about alternating or interleaving two or more different frames.Any pointers on how to go about doing this would be appreciated.Thanksjay

I'm trying to use OOB pairing with the blueNRG1, using the latest DK3.2.1 (stack V2.1c). There is no example available, the security example has all security examples with exception of OOB. I'm trying to use LE legacy mode for now, but LE secure is also a possibility. The documentation lists the functions aci_gap_set_oob_data/aci_gap_get_oob_data to set/get the OOB keys, but I'm missing a function to enable OOB?When I search the stack for the keyword OOB i found the following defines:#define OOB_AUTH_DATA_ABSENT (0x00) #define OOB_AUTH_DATA_PRESENT (0x01)Which function takes these defines as an input?
