need for clarification about L9663 to sensor line
According to the STM AN5366, a filter has to be interposed b/ween the PSI1 pin of the L9663 IC and the line to the sensor.
In my application, the sensor has an IDATA pin and a VDD pin as well, so my customer has developed a working demo circuit which has got a fork after the PSI1 pin: one line, unfiltered, reaches the sensor IDATA pin, while the other line of the fork gets filtered and reached the VDD pin.
Now, since I have to design an engineering board for that, I need to know whether the fork is actually needed or it is a mistake of my customer, and to know all pros and cons.
May I reach an STM expert please?
