Question about ST eSIM solutions

Hello,

I was researching ST eSIM offerings, and what I found out is that SIM provisioning goes through partner 1Global. My primary use case is to be able to provision the eSIM with multiple profiles without using 3rd party.

Can you please tell me are there any eSIM solutions that I can use without going through 1Global (profile download as it is implemented in consumer eSIM devices)? And if not are there any plans in the future to offer consumer grade eSIM solutions that use provisioning without 3rd party?

Thank you

Hi, this is the link to the new product https://www.st.com/resource/en/data_brief/st4sim-300m.pdf.

The availability at Mouser, should be in Q3-2025.

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

As already mentioned by Andrew Neil in his answer, it's like to system works.

In any case, in ST roadmap we have product compliant to the new specification, called eSIM for IoT, will ease the profile provisioning. The spec reference is GSMA SGP.32 version 1.2.

Thank you, do you maybe know the part number of the new product so we can look up documentation if it exists and when it will be available to purchase with typical distributors such as Mouser?
