Questions about Bluenrg-2N

Hello I'm in the development of the bluetooth communication between two bluenrg-2n devices. The bluenrg-2n are connected with stm32f405 through SPI. I'm not new in stm development but new in bluetooth communication.

I've already done the init process of µC and bluenrg-2n. Now I'm little confused, whether I should care about the bluetooth process of bluenrg-2n, such as scanning, connection and pairing. If i should, which functions I should use? If not, how should I establish the connection and configure the device which I want to send data or receive data?

Are there some references or manual I can refer to?
