Shipped firmware for X-NUCLEO-ST67W61M1

Just received my X-NUCLEO board and I am trying to discover what the default firmware is on the shipped boards? The getting started guide appears to suggest one needs to program the module.

Hello,

Yes, there is a latency between the binary we were able to flash in factory and the binary fully featured and in line with X-CUBE-ST67W61 released for MML.

So, please, follow the getting_started procedure for the current period.

Thanks,

Benoit

@Benoit MARCHAND

I hope you can help a little more.

I have ported the NCP_Loader to run on my Nucleo-F411RE, however, I do not seem to be able to flash the ST67W61M1 using STM32CubeProgrammer.

With the Nucleo in "flash" mode I see the CHIP_EN and BOOT signals operate as described. When I try to connect the programmer, it gives an error that it timed out trying to connect.

If I observe the Nucleo UART_TX to the expansion board I see a single byte, 0x7F. I believe this is the programmer trying to get the attention of expansion board. I never see a reply.

Any pointers you may be able to give would be much appreciated.
