STEVAL-IDB011V2A expressions only work when code is paused

Using WiSE-STUDIO and BlueNRG SDK 1.4.0 on Windows 11

Debugger is USB to the board, configured as CMSIS-DAP

I'm able to flash code to the board, but I cannot see an option for "Live Expressions" anywhere. Is this not supported?
