STEVAL-IDB012V1 - Problems with Wise-Studio and SerialPortBLE demo

We are currently evaluating the STEVAL-IDB012V1 board (BlueNRG LPS).
We're facing some difficulties since we aren't able to debug the SerialPortBLE example in the SDK with Wise-Studio.
Problem 1: We followed the procedure on the user manual (UM2735 rev. 13) in order to setup everything correctly (CMSIS-DAP and debugger selection), but still we've encountered the following error:

Is there, by any chance, something we are missing?
Problem 2: We'd like to specify that the board works correctly with RF-Flasher_GUI and BlueNRG-LPS_Navigator apps and we were able to test (in part) the functionalities we needed.
We used "in part" because the board suddenly stops working (needs to be re-flashed + reset and we have to restart our BT client device before start a new association).
We'd like to debug and see what happens in the memory when we try to send an entire 200kB file using our SW using the write_without_response function (does not happen with the normal write of 20 bytes, but is much slower).
Probably, when we'll be able to debug step-by-step, we can follow up with new infos regarding this issue and see if we can solve it ourselves.
