STSW-STUSB002 V1.11

Hello,

I tried to upgrade STSW-STUSB002 V1.09 (early 2019) which works well with STUSB4500 chips, but doesn't with 4500L ones! Not same register mapping?..

I installed STSW-STUSB002 V1.11 (early 2020) but no more "SINK PARAMETERS" on the GUI.

Do I miss something on V1.11 installation?

Please let me know: NVM settings of 4500 chips DON'T WORK with 4500L ones!

The GUI shall support both STUSB4500 and STUSB4500L.

The "Sink Parameters" tab is not shown in newer version of GUI

possibly because all the configurable parameters for STUSB4500L are already in Type-C tab.

Can you let us know what parameter that you were going to configure is missing?

I got the answer from the app dev dept through Billy:

STUSB4500L is 5V/3A ONLY. No other PDOs possibility.

That's a point I missed (top of page 2 of DS), and that's the reason why the "Sink Paramaters" tab disappears from the STSW-STUSB002 V1.11 screen, whereas it doesn't from STSW-STUSB002 V1.09 one, but is just inefficient.

The case is closed.
