Hello, I am using a LSM303AGR sensor. I am several questions about the datasheet. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Firstly, I don't understand why the linear acceleration sensitivity in table 3 Sensor characteristics has a value of 11.72 mg/LSB for +-16g in high resolution (HR) mode.In HR mode : n = 12 bits. So +/-16g => range : 32g Sensitivity = Range / 2^n = 32 / 4096 = 7.8125 mg/LSB  In the datasheet you give 11.72mg/LSB... (48/2^12 = 11.72mg/LSB but why 24 * 2 ?)My calculations are good with your result from Table 3 for each mode and for each full-scale EXCEPT for +/-16g. I think +/-24g has been used for you Table 3 but I don't know why... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Secondly, in table 96, line "Set_FREQ", what do you mean by "after PD condition" ? I'm using Hypsometric formula to Calculate Altitude by using Pressure & Temperature. ( Source Code used to read the sensor https://github.com/stm32duino/LPS22HB )The Pressure value & Temperature are not in Sync.. Temperature Increases irrespective of Air temperature, which in turn causes wrong altitude value. When Move upside Pressure & temp should decrease.. But only pressure decrease & temp remain same or increase. What is the best way to calculate Altitude ?How to do OPC ?? Thanks In Advance.

Hello, I am trying to use the MEMSMIC1 example on my nucleo-wb55 board, specifically the microphones streaming exampe to record sounds with audacity. I am able to compile and run the code. I am also able to see the microphone show up in the device manager, and can select it from recording options in audacity, but it does not detect any sound.Could there be a reason for this other than an issue with the microphones? I have already tried two different microphones and both dont record although they are recognised by the computer

Hi,I'm trying to solve dead-reckoning over small distances and durations (few centimeters to few meters, over 2s to 20s approx. each time). After reading a lot of documentation ad publications, this seems pretty doable over small distances because the drift doesn't accumulate too much.I have a LSM6DSV16B IMU sensor, use the SFLP block to compensate for gravity and gyroscope bias, then I filter and integrate the accelerometer data twice to estimate distance made (with speed reset after movement to remove integration error). At this point I'm not even trying to plot a trajectory, but just estimate an absolute distance made during a movement.To test setup consists of a 1m long rail with small tilt, and an optical sensor measuring displacement (100Hz sampling) to compare the results. The sensor is placed on an object hanging from that rail, and dropped without initial speed. Sampling of accelerometer, gyroscope and SFLP, along with FIFO batching, are all done at 240Hz.Extracted data from o

Evaluating the use of LSM6DSV32X + external magnetometer in sensor hub mode to achieve 9Dof. Is there a list of compatible magnetometers that should be used for this setup to work? Also is there  a pass through mode where we could talk directly to the magnetometer/external sensor through LSM6DSV32X.

HelloI have been trying to setup 6D orientation interrupt using IIS2DLPC and I am not getting any interrupts on INT1 pin when the orientation changes beyond threshold. For debugging I tried printing SIXD_SRC (3Ah)  and ALL_INT_SRC (3Bh)  registers. In the SIXD_SRC register I am seeing the bit 6D_IA (a change in position is detected) is set and in register ALL_INT_SRC I am seeing the bit 6D_IA (a change in position detected) is also set but no interrupts are generated.I have also tried changing Interrupt active high/low and Latched Interrupt settings both didnt work. Also tried adding internal pullup and pulldown from the micro controller that also didn't work. I2C settings done for 6D orientation interrupt:1. Write 64h in CTRL1 // Turn on the accl // ODR = 200 Hz, High-Performance 2. Write 04h in CTRL6 // FS ±2 g, LOW_NOISE enabled 3. Write 20h in CTRL7 // Do not use low-pass filter for 6D, enable interrupts 4. Write 40h in TAP_THS_X // Set 6D threshold (6D_THS[1:0] = 10b = 6

Hi how are you …i bought a new esp8266 (also I bought logic level shifter and 74125 IC) and built the project from the beginning as the schematics in the beginning it works fine the rgb ring lights up and the sensor responds and performs the interruption function BUT when I reset the esp nodemcu v3 or unplug the replug the usb to pc the sensor didnot respond …do yoou think that because I still didnot connect the logic level shifter or the ic between the ring and the esp ?note :I connect the shdn pin on the sensor to 3.3v but that part nit in schematics

Hi guysI'm pretty new to the ST world. Just got my hands on an STWINKT1B, hoping to dive into its ultrasonic sound detection features. I spent today tinkering with it, trying to wrap my head around how it all works.So, I've got STM32CubeProgrammer installed to load up new firmware onto it. When I connect it to my computer with the ST-LINK dongle and power it up via USB, everything's fine. But here's the problem: I can't seem to program it using just the USB itself. Every time I try, I get hit with a "No DFU Detected" message. And to make matters worse, when I plug it in via USB, my Windows 11 doesn't even recognize it as a new device, though the ST-LINK dongle gets recognized.I really need USB streaming functionality, but I'm stumped on how to fix this. Any ideas would be a lifesaver. Thanks a bunch!Amir

I recently updated to a macOS and am have downloaded FP-SNS-DATALOG2 function pack and was going to use the HSDPython_SDK to log data from my STEVAL-STWINBX1, however it appears that macOS is not supported, is that correct?  No love for macOS or am I missing something simple? Thank You

Hello, I'm working with the lsm6do. The lsm6dso is configured to 6,67kHz sampling rate of both, acceleration and gyro data. The INT1 pin will be set if gyro and/or acc data is available (INT1_CTRL = 0x03). In my application I'm polling the int1 pin (every 60us) and if int1 is set, I'm start reading from the status register (0x1E) till the acceleration z data (including 0x2D). I've set the BDU bit and auto increment.Without the second sample, I always get the results (gyro and acc) at the same time. Are the GDA and XLDA bits always set together?Is there any synchronisation between the acc and gyro data or sampling start/end? I can't find any information about the synchronization inside the documentationI've done some tests and it seems like the first time the int1 pin is set I get both acc and gyro date. The second time the int1 pin is set I only get gyro data. And all the following times I get both, acc and gyro data. This behavior let me struggle a little bit, because withou

Hi all,I am trying to implement the  LIS2DUXS12 into a design and I am wondering if it is possible to still use the interrupts while using the Qvar sensors. Ideally, I need a way to detect when the device is on the human body and also a way to wake up MCU when motion is detected. It appears this isnt possible with the Qvar leads taking up the interrupt lines.Will this be possible with this device? Thanks

GreetingsI am running an application where I am using the LIS2DW12 accelerometer. I am using it for classical sampling of acceleration values in cont-to-fifo mode, which works fine. The FIFO is configured with the High pass filter enabled. I now want an additional 10 samples (preferably more than 4 samples but 10 being the max) with the high pass filter disabled. We have designed the LIS3DH onto a custom PCBA, and we are seeing some oddities with the sensor readings post manufacturing. The PCBA goes into a two part injection molded enclosure made of ABS, and the two halves are ultrasonically welded together. After this process, we are seeing what appears to be an offset zero issue along two of the axes. The entire range of gravity vectors is as expected at ~18.9m/s^2. However, positive Z facing toward the earth yields a gravity vector magnitude of ~13.8m/s^2 and negative Z down reads ~5.1m/s^2.Has anyone else seen something like this or have ideas for how to fix this?  

I use LSM6DSR,  I set Accelerometer ODR selection can read data, but i choose fifo mode to read data, i don't read data, i set CTRL3_C is 0x01, CTRL1_XL is 0x50,  CTRL3_C is 0x40, CTRL5_C is 0x20, CTRL9_XL is 0xf8, INT1_CTRL is 0x01, INT2_CTRL is 0x08, CTRL6_C is 0xc8,  FIFO_CTRL1 is 0xc8, FIFO_CTRL2 is 0x90, FIFO_CTRL3 is 0x05, FIFO_CTRL4 is 0xf6, Is there something wrong with my settings?

Angle of incidence webinar question follow up… Original question - What angle of incidence performance information is available for these devices?  More detail - For multizone FlightSense sensors, looking into the corner of two walls for example or at a concave/convex  surface, each zone is not perpendicular to the sensor.  At high angles of incidence I assume the distance result from that zone will the average across the area of the zone.  Is that correct?  I'm assuming that at very high angles the histogram function might start to come into play, perhaps not, but if so what angle would the histogram function start to think there were multiple targets?  Or does the histogram functionality recognize that the distribution is kind of linear so the surface it's viewing must be at some angle?  If it does recognize that it's at an angle does it use this information for the average distance to the surface and or to calculate the estimated centroid of the su

Hi, could I please get access to the 3D CAD Models for the LPS28DFW and VL53L4CD products? On both of their "CAD Resources" page you only offer the PCB Footprint and Symbol and not the 3D Model. I need to utilize the 3D model for designing a component that utilize both of these sensors. The datasheet dimensional information provided is not sufficient for this. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

UM2884-Rev 3, chapter 5.5 Results interpretation, shows in table 4 (list of available target status) a short description of the target status 0 to 13 and 255. Question 1: Our application sometimes also shows status 14, which is not described there. What is its meaning? Question 2: Some of the short descriptions are self-explanatory, others are not clear. Is it possible to provide a more detailed description that explains the status in more detail, i.e. what it really means, under what conditions does it occur and what is recommended to avoid it?

Hello, I'm using a STEVAL-STLKT01V1 demo board to perform voice streaming over BLE using allmems 1 v4.2.0 (since versione 4.3.0 dropped support for my demo board). My setup is:Steval demo board with allmems v4.2.0Python script using Bleak library to manage BLE connectionI'm having trouble connecting the board to the script. I've managed to connect the board to my pc using Windows 10 built-in BLE device managemente. I've inserted the default pin and the computer notify me that the device is connected. When I try to connect to the STEVAL board the script hangs on the connect method until it sends a timetout error. I know that the library is working because I've used the same script in the past to connect to other devices.What am I missing? Is there some configuration to add/to remove?My goal is to connect the STEVAL board with allmems 1 v4.2.0 to my python script - without any pin - and subscribe to it's characteristic. I'm planning to add some custom characteristic in the future, b
