Hi guys,I would like know is there is any skew between the acceleration samples of each axe, i.e. ax, ay, az. In other words, if the acceleration components (ax, ay, az) are sampled at the same instant or in sequence. In this last case, I would like to know which is the skew time between consecutive samples of acceleration. By the way, I did not found any indication of this issue nor in the data sheet nor in the application notes & resources.Thank you to every one that will read this and possible will give me an answer!Guillermo

Hello,I have multiple VL6180X sensors which are handled by i2c multiplexor. Once I power up the sensor and configure it I can get measurements, but after MCU reset or switch the power I cannot get new measurements anymore. And the same problem with all other sensors - at first boot all is okay, and after re-power - no new measurements. I don't use GPIO0 for hw reset. Can I reset the sensor via software?Thanks.

In the datasheet, for the INT1_CFG register, it says:AOI-6D = ‘11’ is direction recognition. An interrupt is generated when the orientation isinside a known zone. The interrupt signal remains while the orientation is inside the zone.I want to be able to generate an interrupt on INT1 pin when the sensor is on a flat surface for more than 3 seconds. The data sheet has little information on how to set this up. Other than setting the AOI and 6D bit to 11 in the INT1_CFG register, what other bits and register do I need to set to detect the flat position?Can someone advise?

According to the official sample program, I set the register to detect free-fall event,But it can't be detected very well, even when I haven't moved anything, I have always detected the free-fall event,How can I use lsm6dso to detect free-fall event correctly?

Hi all,I've managed to acquire microphone data at 48kHz, but now I'm having issues on writing that data into an SD card. I'm having interrupt issues. I've been trying to make it work for 3 months now, but with no success :\. I'm using a STM32L433 Nucleo Board and SPI to write the data into the SD card.Hence, I wonder if there is anyone here who would be available to help me? I would obviously pay for the guidance/help. I believe it wouldn't take much time.If anyone's interested, please reply to this post or contact me via PM. I want to build a communications device that looks at 100-3000 psi pressures in my chemical plant and transmits the data to a receiver and GUI in the control room on a dedicated workstation. I am thinking it will take a .5-4.5 VDC pressure transducer, a ADC that will allow multiple pressure transducers to input and output. A controller that can manage the data transmits, and a WIFI transmitter. On the receiving end, I am looking at a WIFI receiver and a controller that can convert the data and input it into a GUI. I need help identifying what the exact parts I need are. Can anyone help?

Hello all, I have set up the "Wake-up" example that you propose on page 75 of the technical documentation (see attached picture).My problem is that the interrupt during a movement is executed only once. How can I make sure that an interrupt is generated at the next movement, and that the "internal program" of the accelerometer is executed in a loop and not only once? Thanks :smiling_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I am new to the STM32 Cube IDE and TRUESTUDIO software. I have followed the step-by-step guide given on the website which allows the user to read the temperature input on the board. However, I am wondering if there is any guidance available for being able to read the other sensors on the board? I have managed to read the humidity sensor however I cannot seem to find any guidance anywhere online! Specifically, I was hoping for guidance with the accelerometer as I am wanting to use this for my own project. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi!I am using the SensorTile.box together with Algobuilder. Since 2.6 there is the feature that pressing the user-button triggers data collection.Unfortunately this does not seem to work with SensorTile.box. I am using the Example13_SensorTile.box_SDCard that comes along with Algobuilder. Setup is working fine. Everything works if I use Unicleo GUI. By pressing "Start" in the UI the blue led starts to blink and a file is generated on the SD Card.But the problem is pressing the User Button just turns the led on (with low brightness level,) but no blinking. I can see in Unicleo that the "Start" and "Stop" buttons are enabled and disabled. Problem is that nothing is written on the SD Card.I tried to display a graph at the same time:

Hello,We are encountering an issue using magnetometer function of a LSM303AGR.I2C line is OK, we can read WhoAmI register of both accelerometer and magnetometer using low level I2C functions. So we can retrieve accelerometer data without any problem using ST Linux Driver (kernel version 4.14).Problems appears when this driver try to probe the magnetometer part, failing with this message:[ 2.832446] iio iio:device1: DRDY on pdata not valid. [ 2.838107] st-magn-i2c: probe of 3-001e failed with error -22On our design, DRDY is indeed not connected.According Linux documentation about device tree, "st,drdy-int-pin" DTS property is optional and driver may work without it (so it's absent in our DTS).So here's my 2 questions:Can we consult magnetometer without taking care of DRDY signal, and what are the risks?Can we configure driver in order to do not use DRDY signal?

I configured LSM303AGR accelerometerit for high accuracy mode 50Hz and I am reading it at 20 Hz via i2c.The xyz signals are very unstable, and the final angle calculated (see figure) has huge variations. 2 degrees is far from what my expectations for a component described as "high accuracy 12 bit". Hi,I am quite new to MEMS IMUs. I have a custom board containing LSM303AGR IMU connected to SAMD21 MCU via I2C.I am using the stm32duino LSM303AGR library.I am having a hard time understanding the Self test procedure. Is it possible to get a simpler procedural explanation? Also,1.Does self test require the device to be immobile?2.Can I take self test readings in mg (GetAxes() method instead of GetAxesRaw()), if so what is ST_X/Y/Z limits in mg? (from table 3 in datasheet is ST_X/Y/Z same as LA_ST?)(according to datasheet LA_ST min = 17LSB max = 360LSB, 1LSb = 3.9mg , so multiply by 3.9 for mg?) Thank you.

Hello all,I've recently been trying to make the LSM6DSOX run ultra-low-power. However, I can't get it to work. I tried it with the 109V3 dev board in Unico, where I can get it to run at ~15uA. However, when I turn that configuration into a .h (header) file and load it into my project, it does not work. Hey all,I bought the STEVAL-BCN002V1B and need for my use case live sensor data of the accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer and the data of the senor fusion in MATLAB.I already tried the Unicleo software and the ST BLE Sensor-App, but i only found the possibility to save the data as a csv file and import it offline into MATLAB.Is there any way to get the data live into MATLAB?Thank you for help :)Greetings Max

I have the SensorTile development kit, where I am able to successfully connect and use the SensorTile with either the cradle or expansion board. What I would like to do is use the SensorTile core board without having to use the cradle or the expansion board in a simple circuit design.This being the case my questions are:1) Is it possible to connect a simple 3V coin cell battery only to the core board as a power supply to get the system working?2) If this is possible, which pins (as in the SensorTile User Guide) would correspond to the positive and negative of the power supplyI am new to this, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

I'm a studtendt from Beijing ,China. I want to use STTS75, an integrated digital temperature sensor and thermal watchdog in a high-g enviroment(~200g). Could someone tell me how the sensor works and its capabilty of bearing high acceleration? Papers about the mechnism ,design, structure and porcess are best.​

LSM6 set to 2000 degrees/s feeding continuously to the FIFO at 208Hz. Solid synchronization on the data coming out of the FIFO. Stationary and at Constant 31 degrees C indicated, in 12500000 samples the average x-gyro reading has drifted from 607 to 544. The zero-rate level seems out of spec, but I really don't understand the large drift.

I have bunch of M24C02 eeproms in some old equipment that I would like to reprogram. I have an ST-Link/V2 installed on an laptop running Windows 10. It has the STM32 STLink driver installed. I also have installed ST Visual Develop. Using this set of software/hardware how shall I proceed to read/write this memory?I believe I should hook up the devices according to this diagram

I am making a tilt-compensated digital compass with an MMC5983MA magnetometer and a LIS2HH12 accelerometer. I have been calibrating the compass using the min/max method and rotating the compass in free space, which works fairly well.I need to be able to calibrate the compass using rotation only about the Z axis in the X-Y plane. The problem I am seeing is that the Z-axis is completely uncalibrated so it has a much higher gain than the X or Y axis. As a result the tilt-compensation does not work properly because of the high z-axis gain. Is there a way to calibrate the compass with only a two axis dycome?

Hi, in the module specifications (bottom of page 12 of the datasheet) says:"The product is factory calibrated at 2.2 V. The operational power supply range is from 1.9 V to 3.6 V."But what happens if I use 3.3v instead 2.2v?, in the datasheet does not says anything about recalibrate the sensor for other power supplythanks
