Hi!We configured it fifo contineous mode to further reduce the current consumption of the lsm6dsl mounted on our own board with nRF52832(nordic semiconductor), but rather the current consumption has increased. Total current consumption has increased from approximately 200uA to 1000uA.The same is true for other boards we built with BGM111(silicon labs).By the way, the test on your STEVAL-MKI178V1 board is OK. Hi,I have a MKI109V3 and one MKI197V1.I have downloaded the related tools&software of MKI109V3 then I opened the DfuSe Demo from en.stsw-mki109w / MEMS_Demonstration_Kit_SW_package_v8_0_WINDOWS and upgraded ProfiMEMSToolV2.40.1.dfu from ProfiMEMSTool board in DFU folder.the last step was using UNICO 8.0.1.0 to choose MKI197V1(LSM6DSOX).But I have below error!!I will appreciate if let me me know what the problem is.

On a workshop I heard of this. For an application I would need a bit more precision especially in gyro resolution / stability. Can you please send me information on this and the MEMS identifier, eg ISM330HLC or ISM330DHC ... Are samples available, e.g. early samples? May I get 4 of them ? (two are placed on our existing prototype PCB)

I'm setting up LIS2DW12 to 100Hz, low power mode 1, fifo threshold 30 and fifo interrupt on INT2.When interrupt is received by MCU (STM32L4 here) i readout register 0x2F to know how much samples is to retrieve, then retrieve them all by issuing read from address 0x28, length 6*<sample count> bytes. And i receive interrupt about 3 times per second and it almost works.To be exact it works for about 30 seconds or so, then LIS2DW12 fails to raise interrupt. By "pushing it" by manually connecting power supply wire for short time to INT2 line it again works, until some time it again fails.Where should i seek a source of this problem? I have no idea for now.

I would like to use the VL53L0X in a 3D printed tube with limited space. Hi,I'm working with a STM32F401 Nucleo-64 board. The board is connected to a mems accelerometer (IIS2DH) via SPI, and I'm using the HAL library.Everything was working good and I was able to retrieve samples from the accelerometer. Suddenly one day last week it stopped working. The only data I get from the accelerometer now is either all zeros or all ones.I did no change to the system other than disassemble the two components and then reassemble them. I've tried using other pins on the board for the SPI and it does not work. However, I did try the exact same configuration on another nucleo board of the same type, and it worked.Maybe I've damaged the nucleo board somehow, but if any of you have had similar issues or any ideas I'd appreciate to hear it.Thanks!

Posted on June 19, 2017 at 20:00We're using the LIS2HH12 accelerometer and there's a temperature sensor listed in the datasheet accessible via the temp_L and temp_H registers (16 bits).However the numbers I get don't make any sense.The datasheet mentions 'Temperature sensor output change vs. temperature' of 8 digit/�C11-bit resolution, -40 to 80C range and that the it uses two's complement, but I can't find a way to make the readings return any meaningful value.What do these temp_L and temp_H numbers really mean? In the Datasheet for the LIS2DH12, the typical value for Temperature sensor output change vs temperature is specified for 8 bits low resolution as (typ)1 digit/deg C, but there is no reference for the high resolution mode. Can I have the typical value for TSDr when high resolution mode is activated please?Thanks

I'm using an H3LIS331DL chip, and relying on the set threshold to trigger an interrupt and go read the data.Everything is working fine, except occasionally it will freeze and stop reading anything. On investigation, I found the interrupt output line was getting stuck in the high state, even after reading the INT1_SRC register. Posted on February 10, 2015 at 15:24The title really says it all. The pin description for the LSM9DS1 says that the DEN_A/G pin is the Accelerometer/Gyroscope Data Enable. This sounds important, but I can't see anywhere in the datasheet that explains what you're meant to do with it. Can I just tie it to 3.3V, since I want data to always be enabled? Or tie it to ground? Or maybe to the CS_A/G pin, so that it only takes readings when I'm not actually communicating with it? The only thing I can't do is connect it to a microcontroller pin, because I've run out of those. Thanks for any help #data-enable #lsm9ds1 #den_a/g

Posted on October 02, 2017 at 16:28Hello, we are working with the ex ADC inside a LIS3DH MEMS.Unfortunatly the input impedance/resistance of the ADC pins is not stated in the datasheet...The ADC is used in conjungtion with an external resistor divider. For proper dimensioning we need to know this spec of the three ex ADC input channels. Can anyone help with this?Thank you in advance!T.R.

As stated in the header, is it possible to use MotionAR/MotionAW on all kinds on Cortex M4Fs? We are using a lsm6dsl and it would be awesome to use MotionAW in our solution even though we dont have a STM32 mcu.Is that possible?

I want to configure LIS2DH12 to get an interrupt when a movement is detected and when a double tap is detected.In the application I work on, I have to detect if there is a movement on the device where the accelerometer is and at the same time if there is a double tap. Hy,I need to design a power consumption optimized (battery based) system using the LSMDSM. I cannot find the current consumption vs voltage in the datasheets. I can either use battery voltage directly (3.6V) or use a high efficiency DCDC (i.e. TI TPS62746) and generate 1.8V.Will current stay the same for 3.6V and 1.8V?What current do I expect for HW standby and high performance measurement at 3.6V and 1.8V?RegardsHarald

Hello everyone! I use an obstacle detection sensor VL53L0X. I had a problem using protective glass. I use VL53L0X_API_v1.0.2.4823_externalx. When I put the glass in front of the sensor with the correct clearances, I get a strange distance. When there is no obstacle in front of the sensor, it shows about 20-30 mm, and when I put an obstacle, the sensor shows the correct distance to the obstacle, but in a small range. Everything corresponds to the cross-talk picture. Please tell me which parameter I need to change in the code. What parameter is responsible for this? Is there an algorithm that takes into account the use of protective glass? Thank you.

I have a CLOE board, with a TESEO III and its development kit. To debug the board the user manual is inviting me to use J-Link. Is there another way of debugging, for example through USB ?

I have programmed the LSM6DSL to a sample rate ODR of 26Hz, and set the FIFO ODR to 26Hz (I've also tried much higher FIFO ODR rates). I am only sampling the accelerometer. Every second, I read the FIFO and am expecting to find 26 samples. Or, at the very least, if I find 25 samples I expect to see 27 samples in the next second. I will read all of the samples out when depending on how many are in the FIFO. However, what I am seeing is that I will have 26 samples, for say, 3-4 seconds, then 25 samples. Then back to 26 samples for 3-4 seconds, then 25 samples. It isn't always 3-4 seconds. Sometimes it's 2-3 seconds.It appears I am losing data. I am not sampling at 26 Hz, but rather 25.*** Hz.Is this expected behavior? How accurate is the clock?

Hi,I'm in charge to develop application for vibration monitoring with sensorTile.but i'm not able to connect the sensor tile with bluetooth on unicleo gui. Despite all my work, update and any thing i can do, unicleo dont want to detect the sensor. I'm try on windows 8.1, the sensor is well appaired, but buton to activate bluetooth is still not accessible.Thanks for your help
