Posted on May 10, 2018 at 14:49Hello FRIENDS!I have problem with chip LSM6DSL using.My purpose is use this chip in the FIFO continues mode. I would like receive interrupt from INT1 pin when FIFO full and read info from FIFO. I am working from STM32L452 processor. I tried some chips with my dev board and I have only one chip working properly. It's mean I received rizing front interrupt from INT1 pin and I can read dates from FIFO.Another chips not provides INTERRUPT. The contacts from microcontroller to chip was checked.My registers set up is: data = 0x01; data1 = ReadLsm6ds3Register(WHO_AM_I); if(error_status == 1) { acc_error_flag = 1; return; } HAL_Delay(200); //Write to FIFO_CTRL3 register. Posted on May 05, 2018 at 08:01Hello, we are building an application for condition monitoring of machines. For this, I am trying to figure out the appropriate accelerometer with the following specs: (1) a frequency response of 1.5 to 2 kHz, (2) a high ODR, higher the better, (3) an analog anti-aliasing filter, and (4) a resolution of at least 14 bits. After looking at different accelerometers, I have zeroed-in on LSM303AH and ISM330DLC (we'll be utilizing only the acc sensor). Can you please suggest which among the two should be preferred over the other (for this particular application)? Or, if these are not the appropriate ones, could you please suggest other options.Regards,Ankur#accelerometer #vibration

I am using INT1 for FIFO so INT2 is for clicks interrupt, Individually I can able to get interrupt from them but when I am combining single and double click in same code, I am not able to get single interrupt, Its showing only for double INT.My sensors configurations are as below. Posted on May 08, 2018 at 02:56I started a project using the #osxMotionAR library which required a license from ST. This software has been moved into #X-CUBE-MEMS1 together with other osxMotionxx libraries. Is a software licence fro ST still required?

Posted on April 11, 2018 at 09:45The specifications of the sensor states a 'FOV of 25 degrees'. I'm not really sure what that FOV means here. The beam is reflected back to the detector and filtered by a pinhole. There's a pinhole, so what would be the point of such a high divergence, if that is what FOV means? If 'FOV' is the divergence and if the divergence is artificially increased so it will reach the pinhole which is at an offset to the emitter it seems too much much even for few cm distances, right? I also do not see how the high divergence will help detect objects at other angles (provided this is the purpose) besides the one the pinhole is pointing at as any reflected ir light with a slightly different angle will be physically cut and not reach the sensor inside the pinhole. Even if there wasn't a pinhole any non retroeflective surface not in the center of that FOV still wouldnt work unless it was in the middle of

Posted on March 24, 2018 at 14:24The user manual mentions using one 88% reflectance target and 17% reflectance target for calibration. I don't know what material has those reflectance values. What exactly should I use for calibration and where can I get those?

When ı try to use this api keil show windows.h include problem. When ı try this header to comment it show a lot of another problem.I want only use this device and measure the distance it is enough for me. Posted on April 25, 2018 at 19:02disappointing VL53L0x multiple sensors driver Hello,I got a st VL53L0X shield from ST, and for any people who needed some code, I wrote some faste code here:https://github.com/h2mille/les-beffroyables/tree/master/t%C3%A9l%C3%A9m%C3%A9trie/1er_test_53L0A1  and can use the 3 sensors+write on the 7digit screen.Anyway this are my conclusions, using it on Arduino Uno original:-the original code doesn't work on multiple sensors: I had some stupidly hard calibration error  on the use of the 2nd sensor.-Adafruit used your driver to make a new one, and as far as I tryed, it was really quick: it neither work. Anyway, every sensor takes 40% of memory space of the arduino. I think it's really quite a lot

The VL6180X sensor I am using so far gives me values about 10mm below the true distance value.My assumption is that the non-diffuse reflecting behaviour of the stainless steel causes the wrong values. Posted on May 02, 2018 at 18:10Hello,I have a question regarding a note in the datasheet of the LIS3DH accelerometer:I want to use the accelerometer LIS3DH for one of my application with the following specifications:- The accelerometer is supplied at 1.8V (in compliance with datasheet).- The functions to be achieved are: orientation detection and  provide temperature.I saw the following note in the datasheet:'The product is factory calibrated at 2.5 V. Temperature sensor operation is guaranteed in the range 2 V - 3.6 V.'What those that means? The device appears to have such functionality at least for internal purposes, but there are also several references to histograms in the API.If someone in here should be able to help us out and enable us to get histograms out of this really nice little device, I would greatly appreciate it! Posted on March 28, 2018 at 16:07The previous proximity sensor VL53L0X has a application note (AN4907: VL53L0X ranging module cover window guidelines) that specifies the cover window thickness limits for different distances that can be measured.I wonder if there is a similar document for the new VL53L1X, because so far I could not find any. I need to measure at least 1000mm for a cover window that is 3mm thick.Is there is a way to measure the 1000mm with the 3mm cover window for the VL53L0X, that would be even better.#cover-window #vl53l0x #cover-glass #vl53l1x

Posted on April 25, 2018 at 21:56Looking at the data sheet for the VL6180X (p49-50), the registers are listed with their 'offset' address.Does this mean I have to add a base address to the offset addresses? If so, where is that found in the documentation, please? And, is there a register listing that has the actual register addresses somewhere?Thank you.
