I set ACT_THS and ACT_DUR registers, so now the chip enters on low data rate mode (10 Hz) when no movement is detected. everything is fine to that point. I don't have access to INT1 and INT2 pins physically so I need to read activity/inactiviy status by registers.

How can we find the range of external pull up resistance ?

Hi, I have been investigating a current leak in my circuit. I triangulated it to my IIS3DWB, when the accelerometer is not communicated through and all pins are pulled up by the MCU, I get a system current consumption of ~20uA (expected) But if I ever communicate with IIS3DWB, even for checking the WHOAMI register, my current floor is set to 1mA. (starting accelerometer adds 1an extra 1 mA)This persists even if I set the lanes that drive SPI to GPIO and pull them up. (or down)Persists if I make a software reset. It only resolves with a power cycling of the board. It is as if in IIS3DWB something latches and sinks current. I read the other post, cleaned the flux and tried SW RESET. I also have ties the VDDIO to VDD, since the comm voltage is the same with VDD.What might be the culprit? VDD is 3V6 (But the current persists with 3V or 3V3)What might be the culprit?

We received notification from our CM that there is an EOL notice for this part. I checked a few sources including st.com, and they all say that this part is active. Can you please confirm the YTEOL for this part?Thank you.John

Good morning, I have developed one board with CC2640 running to 1.8V (External Regulator Mode), this board has one LIS2DH12TR with VDD & VDD_IO to 1.8V, the communication is SPI, when I read register "WHO_AM_I" (0x0F) I get 255, not matter what register, clock or pol & pha I set... I always get 255, if CS=0 then this chip works as SPI and the interface 4-wire is default, what am I making bad?I hope somebody can to help meRegards

Currently, I'm working on a project where my job is to take Accelerometer, Gyroscope data and convert it into Roll, Pitch and Yaw. So to achieve this we started working on the ISM330DLC sensor. To get the raw data we interfaced the example code successfully and then we included the DI library to convert the raw data into Roll, Pitch and Yaw. Lastly, we were printing the Roll, Pitch and Yaw angles on the UART. After printing data, we observed suspicious data, for example, we kept the sensor in a steady position and then we observed Yaw angle value was 360 degrees at the same time roll and pitch angles were also changing randomly. So after this, we dumped the .bin file which is provided in the Unico GUI folder. and again we observed the Roll, Pitch and Yaw. So I'm sending the same Accelerometer data to the MOTION AC Library but I'm getting Accelerometer offset value in [g] value always zero I'm not able to understand what should be the reason. Hello, I am able to successfully compile X-CUBE-MEMSMIC1 (version 5.6.0), UltrasoundFFT for STM32L4R9ZI-STWIN (STEVAL-STWINKT1) - as Debug .bin file. However, when I run it on the STWINKT1, the host Utility/GUI (UltrasoundFFT.exe) does not run. It is unresponsive when click the START button. Basically, the utility program hangs.Alternatively, I don't have this problem when I use the compiled code from X-CUBE-MEMSMIC1 (version 5.5.0). It works fine.I am wondering if anyone has tested this project (UltrasoundFFT for STWINKT1) using version 5.6.0? The Release Notes for version 5.6.0 says that "now using new GenericFFT library". I am wondering if there is any bug in this library (GenericFFTLibrary) versus the previous one used in version 5.5.0.( I am using STM32CubeIDE version 1.9.0 on MS Windows 10, x64 PC for compiling.)Thanks for any suggestion,

Please,give me your opinion.I have to develop an anti-tamper board.By now I was asked to select one of 2 working modes:1)Interrupt on TAP2)XYZ values on demand ,microcontroller periodically checks variations in XYZ values.Is it possible to have both at same time?In other words,every second XYZ values are compared with some thresholds,but between measurements (or even during) if a TAP event occurs it must activate the INT pin.Thanks.Diego

I have a project using the LIS3DML Magnetometer. I am looking for a behaviors where the Interrupt lines only stays high or low ( depending on settings) as long as the configured thresholds are true. From what Iv tested. Looking at Z only when interrupt are enabled and Latching is set to non latching the interrupt does nothing. its either high or low and moving the magnet away or closer has no effect. When the latching is turned on again the interrupt fires as expected and stays high until SRC is read. so Im trying to understand which of the Interrupt configuration setting has an impact on the Latch/No latch function to get the expected behavior.
