When we detect movement, we enable switch the LSM6DSOX into a fifo /w compression mode. We noticed we sometimes get a few "junk" entries of Gyro data in the beginning. Once we the a few entries into the system, the data looks good.What is the correct sequence to setup the registers to avoid any glitches in the compressed fifo data stream?For the data below, the device is on a turn table running at a relatively constant rate. Can IIS2ICLX able to provide 3 Min of arc Accuracy and resolution? My application need 3 Min of arc accuracy and 1 min of arc resolution, is IIS2ICLX sensor capable to provide that with calibration?*Edited by moderation, please keep the title of your question shorter than 70 characters*

Long story short, we’re making a beacon coverage prototype in the canope of Guyana (in areas of interest) to hinder illegal gold panning.The idea is to use our board’s 2 MEMS microphones to detect a sound, low-pass filter it, FFT it and then make it mathematically useable (but it’s another story).The first step is already bugging us. It seems impossible for me to get the right documentation on those MEMS microphones. They are connected to the CODEC of the board, that’s for sure but how do I even “talk�? to the codec using the STM32CubeIDE ? I think we are not looking the right direction or we are too disoriented by our lack of knowledge and experience.I would like to know how those darn MEMS microphones work, where to see the data (apparently with SAI) and how to configure them first (apparently with SPI) or just

Hi,we are using LSM9DS1 IMU board with NUCLEO L053R8 eval board for our project, we are using X-CUBE MEMS1 Fusion, we've validated the Raw data, and we are getting the Fusion output, we need to validate it. As we are verifying the Gyroscope data output of the LSM6DSO, we noticed the value goes to -3.311157 randomly.Below table is an example of the issue.We are rotating the device at a constant speed and expected the value to be around 35, but all of a sudden, while the device is still rotating, we get a value of -3.311157.Is there an known issue with the LSM6DSO?Have there been an recent changes in the LSM6DSO?

Dear community,i have one more problem with my lis2dh12 project.So my sensor run in STREAM-TO-FIFO mode.After init. i can interrupt my sensor und get the right data.After some time my uC go into sleepMode (deinit i2c bus).When i trigger my lis2dh12 again, my uC start, i init the i2c bus and read out the FIFO.But there are no values from my shock. But if i trigger my sensor again before my device go again into sleep there are right data. Did the sensor reset his FIFO after reinit i2c?I check my register after and before sleep and this seems look ok.EDIT:After a few more tests, it looks like the FIFO isn't "freezing". If I read directly after the interrupt, all good. I'm working with lsm6dso for activity monitoring project. I want to record the acc and gyro data in the fifo and trigger an interrupt when the number of samples in fifo are more than the configured watermark. I already achieved to get the gyro data in the fifo and trigger the interrupt when the number of samples equals the watermark.​ My problem is that I only get gyroscope data and no acc data. Do I have to write to a special register in order to enable the acc? I apreciate any help regarding the topic how to get acc running in fifo mode.​Best regards ​

Hello,i have a problem with my lis2dh12 acc sensor.I use the sensor in low power, 8bit with 100Hz and STREAM-TO-FIFO mode.After a interrupt, i read out all 32 FIFO reg and the INT1_SRC reg. These value look good. But when i trigger the interrupt again after that. The FIFO isn´t filled with new data. All 32 reg have the same value.Did I miss something in the sheet?dear,Torben

As per the Release Notes (v2.4.0 / 5-Nov-2021) for HS DataLog CLI example, I could see executable and libs are present under directory Utilities/cli_example for Raspberry Pi 3B. I have also exported and set the shared library path using command.export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=<Utilities/cli_example/bin>But when I execute below command./bin/cli_example_rpi3b -f ../STWIN_config_examples/DeviceConfig.json -t 100I am getting following error error../cli_example_rpi3b: error while loading shared libraries: libhs_datalog.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64Could you please advise whether I am doing anything wrong?

Are there any I2C communication timings available available. Trials seem to indicate device is performing clock stretching and only achieving 200kHz on returned data.FIFO usage. To reduce impact of I2C overhead, I would like use single axis mode on Z axis. If I use the 1AX_TO3REGOUT feature (CNTL4), can I restrict FIFO content to Tag and three Z axis readings. This alone would reduce I2C overhead. (ie 3 data sample per I2C read sequence using auto register increment)Is there a method to burst read out of the FIFO, via I2C or do we need to always use a 7 byte read preceded with a register setup address of 0x78.Comments very welcome

I am using STMicro's proprietary (i.e. STMicro does not publish the source code for this library) MotionMC library. This library does not result in a tilt compass as reactive as almost any other compass implemented on common off the shelf Android devices. We have received many complaints regarding how sluggish our compass feels to the end user.At this point in this STMicro youtube video (https://youtu.be/A3lj1VXh9SM?t=373) the STMicro narrator states the software used for the STMicro demo uses the data from an STMicro gyroscope! I want this STMicro software for our STM32 processor based product which uses STMicro Accelerometers, Gyroscopes & Magnitometers!Where can I find it?Quick! HiI am using MotionGC_manager_update(&data_in, &data_out, &bias_update); library function in my program and i can able to get the data_out output from that function but the problem is bias_update is not becoming 1 it showing always 0 even though sensor is in steady position. what might be the reason for this can't able to debug as it is a library function. thanks in advance

Writing 0x80 to IIS328DQ_CTRL_REG4 (0x23) register.Write 0x00 to IIS328DQ_CTRL_REG2 (0x21) register to disable high pass filter.Set ODR to 400Hz. Writing 0x37 to IIS328DQ_CTRL_REG1 (0x20) register.Configure the INT1 register as below.IIS328DQ_CTRL_REG3 - 0x02 : INT1 data readyIIS328DQ_INT1_THS - (tried 0x00 and 0x1A)IIS328DQ_INT1_DURATION - (tried 0 and 100)IIS328DQ_INT1_CFG - (tried 0x00 and 0xBF) 6.Wait for 500 ms.Interrupt is not generated on INT1 line. THERE IS three phase supply and three phase load which is given to current sensor. There is signal conditioning unit for this. Whosoutput is given to DSO. My objective is to capture this signal using STM32nucleo F407. So hot to code it.
