Hello, I recently got a SensorTile.Box and wanted to log accelerometer and gyroscope data from the LSM6DSOX along with the time at which the sensor output was recorded. Importantly, I want to do this at the highest frequency possible (6666Hz) with microsecond and possibly nanosecond time resolution.To attempt to accomplish this I used the "ST BLE Sensor" app from the Google Play Store. I entered expert mode and configured the following inputs:IMU Accelerometer sensor (6666Hz)IMU Gyroscope sensor (6666Hz)RTC (Time) I configured the app to output to the SD card.After uploading the app to the SensorTile.Box and logging some data on the SD card I took a look at the logged data. There were two problems:I calculated the data rate of the sensors by dividing the number of samples in the log file by the time it took to capture the data. The calculated data rate was ~1600Hz! Much less than the 6666Hz I configur

we are trying to test ISM330 for recoding acceleration signal in a BW of 10-1000Hz. We have done the test on a few different sensors with a calibrated shaker. The results show quite erratic and non-linear behavior even from the low frequency of 100Hz.We are really puzzled of this behavior. Below are some sensor Gain plots. reference line is a Gain of 1.based on the constant amplitude input from the shaker.Below is the register dump from the sensor. I'm working on LSM6DSOX with our custom ARM Cortex M4 core with I3C master. I have few doubts as followDoes LSM6DSOX retain the Dynamic slave address after ENTDAA procedure? I'm unable to assign another dynamic address after initial assignment is done.SDR mode of LSM6DSOX supports upto 12.5MHz? I'm seeing a variable clock frequency on I3C bus as attached for SETDASA process. will this be a problem? I'm not getting ACK for the assigned Dynamic address when Static address is provided

Hello,I'm using the IMP34DT05 available with the STEVAL-MIC003V1 kit to record audio the nucleo-f401re. I'm using the PDM2PCM library to convert the PDM stream to PCM data. The audio is recorded at 8kHz.I have tried reproducing 1kHz tone on the microphone. Unfortunately, after recording and listening to the .wav file on the computer it appears to be really noisy. Do you know how can I solve this issue? I have tried increasing the sampling frequency to 16kHz without success. I upload the recorded .wav, by looking at the FFT the 1kHz peak is present. However, if you listen to the audio, playing it in audacity it is really bad. The signal-to-noise ratio seems to be really poor.Any suggestion is welcome.Thanks.

Hi,The use case of my application is to detect only motion in any direction with LIS3DH. The following are configurations for LIS3DH. The problem is that I am getting interrupt only with some kind of linear motion or vibration. When I install my device on the door and I open the door (angular motion), I am not getting interrupt. What could be the reason? Hello community,I've B-U585IOT02A. I want to use sensor values from it to my application running on node.js. I think to import those sensor values to application over the local network using mqtt. But as their is already a web-server installed in B-U585IOT02A . So I found that I can access sensor values after runing web-server at:For example web-server is live at my local wifi ip : 192.168.1.33192.168.1.33/Read_Temperature for temperature192.168.1.33/Read_Humidity for humidity192.168.1.33/Read_Pressure for PressureSo I try to fetch directly these urls but fails these response are header less response.So they didn't work with fetch, axios or https, even not with curl.But these seems to be working in browser so I tried a trick to get data, I used header-less browser or we can say virtual browser to access the data.The code by which I able to read data:const puppeteer = require('puppeteer')

Between two batches of ISM330DHCX and LSM6DSR sensors (first batch purchased in 2020, second batch purchased in 2021), large differences in gyro sensitivity are seen. For a single 90 degree turn, the first batch exhibits several degrees of error - and the second batch exhibits up to 30 degrees of error. The firmware is identical in each case.. What is the expected error in gyro sensitivity we should expect?Are these variances in gyro sensitivity between different production batches of sensors expected?

Dear all,How to get the Angular rate sensitvity from Full-Scale range of LSM6DSR? what is the formula to get 4.375 mdps/LSB from FS = +/- 125?My understanding is signed 16-bit max positive value = 32767, FS = +125 dps, then one dps / LSB = 125 / 32767 = 3.8 mdps / LSB, why the datasheet is 4.375 mdps/LSB?If we get the raw data from register, the actual angular velocity is raw_data x angular rate sensitvity? Hello,​lsm6dsox is configured to 1667Hz ODR.And I measured 'data ready interrupt' interval of 9 sensors. It was between 1629.69 and 1683.57Hz.I wonder if there is acceptable deviation criteria?

I am using nRF52 DK and LIS3DH accelerometer. LIS3DH configuration is follows:1. LIS3DH ODR set at 10Hz, 2. Low Power Mode (Low resolution), 3. Acceleration: 2g. 4. FIFO Enable, and operating in FIFO mode.I am reading all 32 samples stored in FIFO buffer using I2C read when OVRN is set.This cycle is repeated 20 times (total of 32x20=640 samples) with a multishot timer running at 3s intervals. All these samples are stored a array of size 640. I am not getting the data properly on serial i.e., sometimes it is saying logs dropped and sometimes data is not coming. Basically, I'm using the ISM330DLC sensor module and using the following example code "ism330dlc_read_data_polling.c" to read the temperature data. So while printing the variable "temperature_degC" I observed that the temperature was showing 60. I went through the sensor datasheet where I found that the typical input vtg 1.8V was mentioned while in my case I'm giving 3.3V. So here my doubt is, will it affect the final temperature output value?

We are trying to integrate the LIS2DTW12 into our project but aren't able to get basic functionality to work correctly. We see the correct value from `WHO_AM_I`, but then all registers are read only - i.e., when we write to the control registers then read them back, we still see only the default values on the registers. Hi..My name is Anil and i am facing an issue with mems motion_GC library ie.,regarding MotionGC_Update function (&data_in, &data_out, &bias_update); for this function i am providing data.in and trying to get the calibrated data.out but not getting and the bias update is always showing 0 even for steady state and data.out values are also 0. everytime what might be the reason for this?? thanks in advance.with regards,ANIL.

As per UM2631, I closed SB8 and SB10, and I opened SB9 on the CCA02M2.In the software, I changed AUDIO_IN_CHANNELS to 4 in cca02m2_conf.h.When AUDIO_IN_CHANNELS is 2, the two channel input works as expected (I get acoustic signals from the first 2 mics of the MIC006V1 board). With AUDIO_IN_CHANNELS set to 4, the device appears as a 4-channel input device, but all 4 channels remain 0 (there are no signals coming from the USB device).The clock and data signals on all 4 mics look similar, regardless of the AUDIO_IN_CHANNELS value in the code.Is there some other configuration necessary in the software? I don't see that documented anywhere. As far as I can tell, I have followed the documentation for configuration of the hardware.Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I have a problem about connecting STEVAL-STWINKT1B with ST BLE Sensor application. Bluetooth connection works. STEVAL-STWINKT1 appears in the list.​If I try to use the vibration monitor, WARNING pops up. I can't proceed with the next step .​I want to know why the sensor is connected to Bluetooth and it has timed out.​

Is there a TOF sensor product / software solution that can obtain 0.001inch measurement precision?Thanks in advance.

I have a short strip of tape that's supposed to be LSM6DS3's, but the SMD marking code on them is different from the other tapes I have (which where correctly organized and labeled). So, is there a table where I can look up the codes that refer to the LSM6DS3 to find out if these chips are indeed what they're supposed to be? I tried looking for this info in the datasheet and product info page but could not find anything...Thanks!

I am using the IMU Accelerometer from the sensortile.box with a output data rate of 833Hz together with the RTC(Time) and write the output to the SD card. So I would expect to have 833 samples per second, but I actually get only 775 samples per second on average. If I look at the data I see that I have sometimes a gap of 4ms between to data points.

Trying to understand the internal mechanics of the accelerometer I'm using a bit better.Specifically, I'm using a H3LIS331DL.I have settings that will look like this:ODR = 1,000 HzBW = 500 HzFilter = 780 HzHowever, there's not much detail in the datasheet on the filtering. Is that the 3dB point?If there was a 100g 1,000 Hz impulse - would I be expecting 0g as a reading?

I have downloaded all the needed software and st-link (and update) but Unicleo_GUI does not recognize the expansion board. In my device manager, the virtual COM is there. I am able to connect to the right port, but only if I tick the box that lists all the COM ports. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

I am running on linux and trying to collect accel and gyro samples from the IMU. I have configured the IMU to store data in the FIFO so I can read data periodically without missing any samples.I have tried both FIFO mode and continuous mode but I can't find any way to address to reliably determine if the FIFO fills up and stops collecting data.The main problem is that I have to separately read the FIFO status registers to determine how many samples are available in the FIFO and check any status flags. Then I have to read the FIFO data out registers to read FIFO samples. There are multiple warnings in datasheets and application notes to not read more data from the FIFO than is available, so reading FIFO status and reading FIFO data must be done separately.My problem is that I could read the FIFO status registers and see that the FIFO is not full, and then between that time and the time that I read the FIFO data out registers, the FIFO might h
