LPS28DFW vibration susceptibility

Hello,

I am wondering if the presence of gel in the LPS28DFW makes it more susceptible to vibration than LPS22DF. These sensors will be in a vibration environment, and I'm concerned that the vibrating gel in the sensor will negatively affect the pressure readings. Is this a valid concern, or will the gel have negligible affects compared to the LPS22DF?

Thank you.

Hi @VCu ,

Welcome to ST Community!

The presence of gel is mandatory for water-proof functionality. Internally is completely connected to the substrate that is soldered on the PCB and this implies that there aren't problems versus the vibration and the effects are negligible compared to LPS22DF.
