LSM6DSL step counter

we are using this LSM6DSL sensor for our smart ring device. and we also implement step counter which is inside of this IC to calculate step for user, while he wears the smart ring on his finger.

I'd like to know if there is any performance difference between watch and Ring in terms of step counter. Or I'd like to know if there is any case of Ring usage of this IC.

Hi @sangyun ,

The performance of our embedded functions don't depends on the position in which you put the sensor. However you can choose different settings (ODR, FS) depending on the position, you can search the literature for what is recommended.
